Goal 1,2,3 - Hattrick
Goal 2,3,4 - Hattrick
Goal 3,4,5 - Hattrick
Goal 4,5,6 - Hattrick

And so forth.

I always thought it was more like this, the first 3 are 1 hattrick, the next 3 are another.

Goals 1,2,3 = Hattrick
Goals 4,5,6 = Double Hattrick

And so forth.

You're thinking of hattrick, as it's used in cricket.

Yeah, Why would it be any different in other sports? It's the same thing ffs:lol:

The difference is in cricket, they count 4 wickets in a row as a double hattrick because there are two overlapping sets of 3 wickets in a row. Whereas in other sports, including football, they just count it in blocks of 3, so a double hattrick is 6 in a row. That would make 18 goals 6 hattricks.

Oh, I completely understand the conclusion he's come to, and how he's got there. I just think it's wrong.

Well FM considers a double hattrick to be 6 goals, so argument over :p
