-Off contract -No longer counted as a foreigner -Iraqi/Middle Eastern heritage Could definately appeal to the area with a lot of Iraqi's living in the region. -25 years old so still in his prime -Left sided player and very handy too
You know it makes sense West Sydney ;)

I think they should attempt to build a strong core before expanding to other positions.
A GK, CB, CM, and Striker should be picked first as these are the key positions.

I think they should find their own players rather than leeching off the success of others even if they are a bigger club that Newcastle etc. etc.

Fair enough, great lad, great player
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Would be a fantastic signing for them. Perfect player for the 'homeland', too. Perfect marketing tool for the team, pull on a few heart strings about the kid who came from war torn Iraq for a better life and family and making it. Could see it working. In addition that this, Gary van Egmond wouldn't re-sign him if somebody paid him too. He'll end up at West Sydney, mark my words.

considering he played for Marconi before going to Newcastle, I could see this happening. He definately won't be going back to the middle east one would think.

samb wrote:This seems kinda stereotypical. Probably, but we live in a stereotypical world where stereotypes form the structures of society. It also has something to do with his history. When he first moved to Australia he was living in the heartland of Western Sydney and playing for Marconi.
