Look I tend to agree and not. Last number of seasons we also have hit outs against Olympic. Sure it’s pre season but our boys last couple of seasons comeback 2nd halves and give a good game of it. None have been blow outs but good yard sticks regards to fitness pace and ball work. I grew up in my playing days thrown in the deep end and this is just as - a hard lesson hopefully without breaking their hearts you got to face the facts. Yes mate his 2nd season in 18’s coming up with good experience playing 20’s most of second half last season. A lot of changes at Magic the off season with players and coach’s. Hopefully a step in the right direction. Where you at this year ?

+xThanks for the draws !Yes mate friendly s on the go.We have wanderers sunday - I expect a mix of selected players for its not for all squads unfortunately but a good challenge this early for a pl3 club. When I was at Dully last year, we played Manly early on in preseason. Our 18s had a terrible squad and got pumped 10-0. There's not much benefit in that. There's a massive gap between NPL 1 and 3. Is your kid still with Gladesville?

I know us in PL3 start around those dates normally (at least a month before club football start) and yes PL1 a couple of weeks later in the past, look like FNSW decided to start all grades same time. Yer that should be an interesting first up game SU58 and at ol Marconi. The other one is Manly vsing APIA - what a 1st game for 2018.

+x+x+xHassan Jalloh to Sydney FC for 2018 season Luke Ivanovic aswell, pretty poor form by Sydney talking to them mid season whilst still contracted to another club. happened to us too, approaching our 20's in the weeks leading up to the finals. if theres one team that shouldn't be complaining about having their players approached its sutho's under 20's given the track record of a certain person at the helm!

So we have apparently signed David Bradasevic, Ben Tosi & Dean Bereveskos. Happy about David, local kid & will challenge Jimmy, dont know much about the other two. Heard we released Marty Lo.

+xWith all due respect to Timpano, he is hardly a coach that players would drive hours every week on minimal wage for. it dosent matter where he lives if he is happy to drive down there for what they offered thats his business and not ours also he did drive all that way to play under jake. if you are going to post comments at least make sure you know the facts

+x+x+x+xSad news out of Wollongong that Kemblawarra Fury have folded. Damn. We've been playing them in the Portuguese Cup for a few years. Guess it's a 3 team tourney now with you, Fraser & that Brisbane team Earlier in the year I mentioned they should invite Elwood FC from Melbourne to the Portuguese Cup. Well over the year I've also discovered that Casuarina FC up in Darwin has significant Portuguese links via East Timor. Someone earlier in the year told me about Elwood. I was actually wondering about Casuarina because I noticed the colours that they wear. There are a couple of Portuguese social clubs throughout Australia but it is hard to find football clubs. Thanks for letting me know.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+xMitchell Stamatellis > Hakoah, for apparently $1,300 a week Solid signing for Hakoah. Could see a changing of the guard with better players going to clubs like Hakoah. Antelmi to United a massive pick up. He could score 15 to 20 in that. Would have had to take a huge pay cut when he left wolves too. how do you know he took a pay cut ? Because we wouldnt pay the outrageous amount I heard he was on last year. He was due to sign for us until the Wolves popped up at the last minute with a huge offer that we couldn't match. I'd be very surprised if we agreed to pay anywhere near that you heard he was on huge money ok ? i think you will find he was on average money, he signed with the wolves to play under jake Forgive me if I find it hard to believe that he agreed to drive all the way to Wollongong 3/4 times a week for "average" money just to play under Timpano... especially when he lives near King Tom. who cares where he lives the money was AVERAGE Where he lives is relevant. Most players will want some decent compensation if theyre travelling over one hour each way 3 to 4 times a week unless they're desperate for game time. Let's agree to disagree. I've heard one figure, you're certain it's wrong. Cool.

Because we wouldnt pay the outrageous amount I heard he was on last year. He was due to sign for us until the Wolves popped up at the last minute with a huge offer that we couldn't match. I'd be very surprised if we agreed to pay anywhere near that I've personally witnessed Rudes, telling people United don't pay more than 800 or 900 a week for players...lol while Panny is on the books. We're expected to believe the bloke drives an hour there and back each training and match day and is doing it for half the pay he was previously receiving...lol Come on mate, United has one of the biggest budgets in the league, Panny, Payne, Stav, Trifiro, Sim, Olsen, Woodcock, Uskok, Fragogiannis, etc play for peanuts? It's a team with probably the most A-League experience in the comp. Even Manos, Markovic and Vranic would have been demanding decent coin. Where have I claimed that we dont have one of the biggest budgets in the league? I've simply said that Antelmi was offered huge coin at Wolves and we didnt want to match it. Yes, I've no doubt that Panny probably makes quite a bit - Antelmi is a top player, but he's no Nikas. There's no point comparing the wage of the league's best player to others. Reading between the lines, you were hinting that United don't pay big wages, and would not meet the alleged outrageous demands of Antelmi last year. Maybe i misunderstood. Maybe Antelmi just threw a big figure at United knowing United pay big bucks - as per the rest of the playing squad. You blokes didn't jump at it, so he moved to the Wolves. What I said was that "we wouldnt pay the outrageous amount I heard he was on last year" specifically about Antelmi and in relation to the figure he was allegedly offered at Wollongong. Nothing to do with the rest of the squad - only an idiot would think we dont pay big wages. You wouldnt hold on to the likes of Nikas, Payne and Trifiro if you werent coughing up some decent cash.
