Top match yesterday!!!

Elsid and markovic were on fire

Rumour has it Olympic will be making two more signings......

Our pommie imports look good and troy Danaskos is one of the best wingers in oz atm.

Great feeling winning another cup and it was nice to see so many travelling Olympic fans, looking forward to pumping the mariners next week in round 1.

Since 2010 Olympic has won

- Brett Emerton Cup
- Beat South Melbourne in opening of lakeside stadium
- 2011 nsw premiers
- 2011 grand final
- 2012 nsw pre season cup

Two years ago, one of my clubs u20 players was running for a ball near the grand stand, couldn't stop in time, and because he was so close, ran into the fence. He had an incredibly large gash on his leg caused by a rusted nail.

APIA are always around the bottom of the ladder, but I expected CCMA to be certainties for relegation based on their weak first team this season.

What game did you watch the CCMA ? I watched them play Sydney United and I thought a draw wwould have been a fair result.

They looked ok to me. And the NYL finishes this weekend.

not quite an academy team when journeymen such as james monie are in the team!

Tell me about it...

In regards to APIA they came home like a steam train didnt they win their last 5-6 matches? To only just miss out on top 5?

They are always there or there abouts...

Missed out on semis by 1 point.

simple:

lib givt promised them $2.5m for overhaul.
theyve since been trying to get the approval from council to do the works. have the fundung. its dragged on and in the inteirm they havent wanted to spend any money on the joint as its about to overhauled.

they expected to get their approval 8 months ago, delay after delay.

Good old Leichhardt Council. The Greens running society into the past.

If the ground really does get unplayable, I assume the games will be moved to Leichhardt Oval, or Wentworth Park.

The first APIA game I attended was about 3 years ago now, and Lambert was shocking back then. Devoid of healthy grass, mostly dirt, and more pot holes than a country lane way. Lovely little ground, though.

WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

CCMA haven't been pushovers so far in the Cup

Everything changes once the league kicks off but still some promising signs for them.

They do have quite a few senior players considering they're meant to be an "academy"

Yep they need to competitive to stay up and the academy has only just started so I think we will see come more players come throughy the CCM "system" over the next few years. I've also heard on the grape vine that 6 youth leaguers will be added to the squad once they have finished their final game of the season this weekend.

I shudder to think what Lambert Park will look like after having 11 straight home games played on it.
