I'm still confused. You say flares aren't to show you aren't pussies but then tell me that the you can't teach me not to be a pussy as the reason you can't teach me the reason for flares. Do you have to prove yourself hard/tough/ultra before you become privy to such info? How does one prove such a thing?

It's actually just Jay Swann's way of saying "I have no fucking idea why I like flares."

It's actually just a neanderthal attraction to fire, which is coincidentally also why he can't articulate anything.

How about no, where I come from english is not the first language, the first is italian the second is ultras english a distant forth

Yeah. The entire top halves of the stadium were closes off. Only a few dozen perhaps were sitting on the upper-bowl of the Western side.

You can understand, they only sold ~40,000 tickets. It's an 85+,000 seater. You're lucky to get 40k on a weekday, leading up to Easter Weekend, against a minnow footballing team.

- I've worked most of my adult life in hospitality, subsequently many games clashed with work and ergo I had to choose keeping a roof over my head.
- The A-League's tactics are infantile and infuriating to watch.
- The A-League's fans are infantile and infuriating to watch.
- My frank assessments of some of Victory's performances on here weren't appreciated by certain circles of fans and I had my safety threatened on more than one occasion. I'm 6'1" (6'4" with hair) and more than capable of handling myself, but I'm not going to a game and waiting for a fight for 90 minutes at a game as well as the hour before and after at the pub.

FFA has a contractual agreement with ANZ. Not sure when it ends, but I'm pretty sure all WCQs in Sydney have to be played at ANZ.

I also believe ANZ offer free stadium hire - or extremely cheap stadium hire - to teams and clubs. However ANZ stadium just keep the food and beverage profits, while FFA or the respective team keeps the ticket profit. That's how it works IIRC.

Wouldn't be surprised. The people who make these displays aren't millionaires. Just passionate supporters. This is why the FFA censoring banners etc. is getting tedious and unfair.

Same Tifo but it was hang out off one of the pubs on Caxton Street. It wasn't used in the Stadium tonight.

The Den was quality tonight, good fun. :d (Especially after the match)

It sucks that you're not allowed to run onto the stadium after the match. :(
