Yes, on the radio they have confirmed they're the 2 suspects, the black hat guy is likely dead, the white hat guy is on the run and has had several shootouts with cops.

A "pressure cooker bomb" has been found.

Police just said they're locking down the area and waiting for daylight to go house by house and street by street, have told residents to stay indoors...

I remember reading a quote by a u.s army general ,he said I have guns as I go hunting ,but if you want automatic weapons join the armed forces ,why do you need a fully automatic gun in the first place ???

It amazing how it's unfolding live and via twitter.

Actual suspects are in none of those photos. I went through those yesterday.

Worth noting, this all started with them shooting the MIT Guard who spotted them.

They had explosives prepped (As evidenced by throwing them at cops), and were lurking around the campus enough for a Uni Cop to notice them. That guy may have saved many lives.

all of this is too much.

america needs to rethink their gun laws so much. this is like the 5th time something extremely dodgy and gun related has happened in the 'Murica over the last 10 months.

Gun law reform sounds like a good idea but there are literally millions of weapons in circulation already. More regulation would drive things further underground, the last place u want most weapons sales to be. Govts have spent billions on prohibition of drugs...prohibition of weapons would fare no better. It would actually be very damaging to a country like America to even attempt it. I dont think folks here appreciate the issue fully...people who want guns will still get them regardless of laws.

The MIT University Police Officer spotted two persons of interest who are suspects in the Boston Bombings earlier this week. Suspects are armed with automatic weapons, and more bombs? Suspects shoot dead MIT Cop, and flee? Boston Police respond, and a shoot out occurs, killing a further cop and one of the suspects????

So it's been 100% confirmed these two ARE the Boston Bombings?

There has been more then one shootout on the radio, the guy also has grenades.

1 guy has been outrunning hundreds of police for hours.
