Fifth week in a row I scored above average and fell in the rankings. What is this bullshit?

It's GW10. That average is probs 60% formed by people who have forgotten about there teams and have multiple players injured or suspended.

That doesn't change that if you're above average scoring you should be moving UP in the rankings, not DOWN. Especially not five consecutive weeks.

After the phantom guy (Part E people - who are you on here??) joined into first place it was nice to plug that gap straight away. Now 81st in Aus and top 3k worldwide.

The Suarez Banquet has had a big week. Subbed out Rooney and Mignolet and brought in Aguero and Jaaskeleinen. Made Aguero capatain. Currently on 69 with Townsend, Paulinho and Coleman playing now.

The EPL is back tomorrow night. That means I have a legitimate reason to drag this thread from page 3 of ET.

Funky, if you continually score ABOVE AVERAGE then mathematically you should move UP in the overall rankings, not DOWN every week.

Or, the average is weakened by the undoubted fact that 10's of thousands of people will have abandoned their teams, making the average pretty much inaccurate when you look at everyone above you- who scored more this week and probably did all of these other weeks, with even those in a similar position to you getting higher scores.

Either way it proves the point. Look at all those people around you. They're all on the exact same total score as you. The people who beat you, and moved higher than you, won't be around you, because they'll be on a different points tally.

Except there should be just as many people who are scoring less than me and moving below me. Y'know, because of the average score.

Except that statement is flawed because it's just as likely that people who have abandoned their team and scored poorly are balanced out by people who have abandoned their team and scored well.

Bad round. I dropped down to second deservedly so.

I was thinking Giroud had been poor of late and thought Remy would be a good replacement. After three minutes into the 2am fixtures I was giving myself an honorary BJ - very proud of myself - then Giroud gets a gift from Boruc and converts a late (soft) penalty to make me look stupid...
