Was two yellows Quote:The referee's full report reads as follows: "Once the game was over and while were still on the field of play, I booked Barcelona player, No. 1, Victor Valdes Arribas, for squaring up to me with his arms aloft and his voice shouting, recriminating one of my decisions. I then sent off the same player for shouting repeatedly in my face, from just a few centimetres: "You have no shame."
"After he was sent off, the same player persisted with his attitude and kept on saying, in the same tone: "You have no shame." He had to be restrained by his team-mates and a delegate from his club. Once we were in the tunnel, the same player persisted with his attitude and repeated the same thing as he had before, still shouting: "You have no shame, you have no shame." Barca are probably some of the sorest losers in the game. But you get that after you have dominated everything and everyone for the past few years.

Quote:Didn't see the yellow card go up twice, but either way he looked so angry it's not hard to imagine he said a few things worth a red. Pretty sure you can't get a straight red for dissent.

It was about the only time the ref showed any consistency and balls in giving out cards too. I think the red to Valdez might have been straight also. Didn't see the yellow card go up twice, but either way he looked so angry it's not hard to imagine he said a few things worth a red.

Only watched the second half. Apparently the first half was quite tame, but the second half was pretty disgusting play by both teams. So many late, dirty tackles. I'm looking forward to the time that a ref calls it all and both teams are left with 8 men. Valdez went ape droppings at the ref after full time and copped two yellows

What a game! Great to see Kagawa get a hat trick, and Rooney's goal was class! Another clean sheet is great too!

C'mon Middlesborough. You're in poor form, stay that way in the Championship, but beat Chelsea today.

Haha fair enough, yeah ESPN is pretty poor most of the time probably due to most matches that are shown, the commentary teams are based in the U.S. but ah well Yeh, the studio drowns out the stadium noise in favour of the commentators.

M.L. it was on Fox Sports 1 as well..... :/
I'd take ESPN any day over SBS, would rather listen to Tommy Smith babel on over Fozzy fapping

-PB I don't think they ever have been imo the last few years. Real's pride now is grab the Copa and CL all to play for as we know the league title went long ago. One thing is for sure Barca need to change up their game, as mentioned teams and especially good Gaffa's are starting to find the way to penetrate their possession game. Good on Real strong win. I can't remember the last game I watched on SBS, its been years - live off my foxtel and espn. You watch ESPN over SBS for European games?

Somewhere Fozzie is comatosed, wrists slashed, a vodka in one hand, tears strolling down his face.
