Hey me and some mates are wondering if there are any good football friendly pubs in the Newcastle area, directly around the stadium area? A number of them would be good.

Google search didn't work well. Nothing listed on Google Maps unless you did an individual search

Change it to 'bars' and you get a bunch of hits.

So you can pub hop with a collection of Newcastle's finest curtains? :-" ;) Edited by Heineken: 9/12/2013 01:04:07 PM

Nah there's scarcely any within decent walking distance, one of the many pitfalls of Hunter Stadium. Better off staying around Hamilton for that and finding some other means of transport to the stadium unless you want to walk the 3km from there.

Wests Leagues Club, 10 minute walk, buy tickets there, etc
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

The Premier is 4 mins walk from Broadmeadow Station, albeit in the opp direction from the stadium. Get out on the East side of the station, walk 400m up Broadmeadow Rd and the Premier is on the other side of the lights. Cute bar girls.

ducky42 wrote:Fuck shit up at the tennis club tbh. With the shit caused by Sydney fans previously, there is a Members only policy in place at the Tenzo on Match days for NSW based travelling supporters. Plus WSW always bring the Riot cop out in the boys in Blue so there will be plenty on hand around the Tenzo.
