What's the place you've travelled to that you've loved the most? Leaving aside ethnic affiliations to places.

I'll start - Florence.

Isle Of Pines in New Caledonia or Stromboli in Italy

Was going to say Isle of Pines. I'm sure a lot of those Islands are all great and similar but really enjoyed it there.

Too many places I really loved, but the first thing that came to mind was standing atop the Empire State Building.

Least favorite would have to be Dubai, it is the Paris Hilton of mega cities.

Stayed in Lucerne, Switzerland during Christmas. It was beautiful

Im leaving Zim out of it purely based on the fact i could be very biased and you said no ethnic or whatever affiliations, my favourite would be Cape Town.

Yes it looks good but there is nothing of substance behind it.

NY was my second choice.

I found NC really boring.

York, and Nara for me. Both absolutely lovely places.

Penang, followed by Kyoto and Valencia.

They stand out above the rest through my experiences eating there, as well as having a nicer pace and atmosphere for being a tourist when walking the streets.

I have a video somewhere of my wife and I motorcycling around the countryside surrounding Pai in Thailand. There was a bit of a bend and a crest, and suddenly we were just blown away by the awe and beauty of the rolling green hills leading into shear rock faces.

I can't find the video, but found a few pics on the facebooks.

(I'm pretty sure there was ACL on at the time, which is why I had my MV jersey on)

Yellow Stone National Park was out of this world too.

Vancouver is nice ( the airport is the best in North America) but have you been to Whistler? Its just as good in the Summer as it is in Winter

Yeah, I lived in Van in 2012, so I hit Whistler a couple of times.

Kotor and Ulcinj. Was fortunate enough to spend my youthful summers in both cities; happiest I've ever been.

I have two favourite places in the world.

The one that is outrageous & I've only been to once: Cuzco, Peru
The one that is not outrageous & I've been to many times, and genuinely want to live there one day: Wollongong (and general South Coast area)

I feel a little embarrassed to say I have never left Australia's shores.

San Francisco.

It was a really cool city and just loved it all. Alcatraz, golden gate the pier. Going to a 49's game.
Was best part of trip hands down.
