Its all about survival. The Kardashians and Kanye West don't give a shit what other people think. They're making money and living the life they want to stay afloat. Sure most people don't like them, but I give them huge respect for putting their reputations on the line for the sake of making a living to survive.

You don't know their childhood or history, they might have had a very hard life before they were big.

True. Despite that though, its a tradeoff of sorts. They sacrificed their private lives to earn money that would give them the freedom to do whatever they want instead of a normal 9-5 work day for which they would be working for rest of their life.

Im not saying that you can't get rich working a 9-5 job , but maybe they saw no other way to supplement their lavish lifestyle.

Its a bit like porn stars, they see it as a way to make quick money and live like the rich and famous....but most of them probably don't give a rats about what people think about them.

They definitely weren't struggling, they had a Rolls Royce or 2 in the garage before the sex tape. And Kim was already very well known in Hollywood before she became Main stream. She was BFF's with Paris Hilton and big in the party scene.
