I know no one has taken this thread seriously but it was quite a coincidence that my employer (a major qld uni) sent an email out to all staff because apparently May was "Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month".

Pleasingly they were very clear to point out that it can affect women, children and men.

As for the whole misogeny and misandry thing, they clearly both exist (just in different aspects of life) and the feminists v MRA (the extremists) crap that has been appearing on my twitter feed since that fucked up kid did that despicable thing has been very irritating ](*,)
