God knows what this means or what the guy is smoking but thought I would share. Yeah, those are I'm guessing the Corporate boxes. Really does confuse things, but clearly you guys are more closer to 7k, logically, even with a jump in regular member sign ups. The A-League.com.au update, due tomorrow, will enlighten us somewhat. On Glory and co's numbers too.

Wanderers ticketed membership has sold out. Current total is 17,926 but that includes Supporter Members. The 16,904 last year also included about 600 Supporter Members I have been told.

Fantastic news. So essentially supporter memberships/waiting list has increased by 1,000?? That's huge

Anyone else expecting a big jump from sydney fc this week?
They were 11,000 before match day. Surely would have sold some memberships before hand, played alright and wouldn't have deterred anyone from memberships that's for sure, and now with the derby this weekend. I'd be expecting their next announcement will be around 11,500.

Could well be pushing the figure you quote or even higher if we're ultra optimistic. Surely couldn't hit 12k this year, could we?!?

That one city one club policy looks fucking stupid now hey  Can't wait for the membership update, especially after a week of exciting football. Sydney might have just waited for the FFA to announce. Expecting a big jump. Same from Melbourne. Abu Dhabi might reach 10k before the derby too.

Davo I reckon use the lower Brisbane roar figure... The one we are using not only sounded far-fetched but hasn't been verified by club or the league. Even still.... Should be almost at 102k before round 2 (if victory and Sydney update)

I think the 13 thousand number would be correct for total number of members (including global and lil roary members), where as the 11 thousand figure would be a subset of that focused on the season membership (and maybe including the 7-game and 3-game memberships).

Cheers guys i have now adjusted it. Also not sure what that staff guy in Adelaide was smoking but pretty sure he got his figures wrong. Corporate packages or not, they're not even close to 9k.

At 7.10pm, we will face-off against our arch rival Melbourne Victory at the impressive Adelaide Oval and we want you there! Ticket sales have been fantastic, and we are anticipating a crowd of 30,000. Our memberships have passed the 7,000 mark. This is the first time in the Club’s history that we have reached this milestone. We urge you to attend this match, and encourage your friends and family to join the Reds as a member before the game tomorrow night and stand behind us in our bid to break the crowd attendance record for an Adelaide United home match.
As we have been saying all pre-season, as players we want to help our memberships grow. Today, I want to do my part to ensure we are the best supported club in the league. I will give one lucky member a chance to win a pair of my playing gloves personally signed. All members will go into the draw. The winner will be announced next week.
We can't wait to see you tomorrow night at Adelaide Oval. Together we will create history.

United is an interesting one. If they can pull 30k at Adelaide Oval then what stops them from packing Hindmarsh week in, week out? Transport surely can't be the issue as there is a train station and a tram station within a few hundred metres and ample parking at the AEC. Can someone from Adelaide explain why there is such a huge gulf between the two? I know its basically Uniteds derby, but surely United could pull 15k at Hindmarsh if they can do 30k at the Oval.
