Off to continue my newish tradition of a very sloppy Christmas Eve. Venue of choice is the Winston, expensive as f*ck but hey, let's be festive!

Wishing a Merry Xmas Eve from the Ettalong Diggers club. For some bizzare reason Iv'e decided to do this Cmas Dry. This isnt going to end well. 😕 Look up Victoria Avenue on facebook. Theyre currently carroling at the Diggers. Terrible voices. Would be better if they were doing It in lingerie...
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

A good portion of my extended family are leaving on a cruise the day after Christmas so we already did the family thing last Saturday. Means tomorrow will be pretty chilled with wife and daughter, apart from some quick visits to the grandparents. sounds cool, what you cooking for christmas feast? Buon Natale a voi e la vostra famiglia McJules Grazie! Making gnocchi for an entree and have a pork roast ready to be thrown in the oven. Made chili blue swimmer crabs for dinner tonight. The wife is very pregnant at the moment so I'm doing it mostly solo. Shouldn't be too bad I hope :)

Don't have the land to raise animals in suburban Adelaide so I bought my roast from Costco :P Yep making them myself, packet ones have no flavour and are tough in my opinion. The sauce is from a large batch I froze months ago with oxtail so making the gnocchi is pretty much the only bit of work I need to do today. Shellfish are ok and so are a lot of other fish in moderation. Have to say though, second time around we're much more relaxed in general about these sorts of things :) You too mate!
