I get that this election had big implications world wide, but can someone tell me why the hell would people in Australia go out of there way to protest Trumps election. What did they think they were achieving in this? other than social media trendiness? Meanwhile the very traits that people protest Trump for can be found in Malcolm Turnbull and Pauling Hanson... Where were the protests after those election results??? This SJW - selfie me marching against Trump in Australia just makes me wanna puke. They did protest. And they protest because they fund their socialist alternative organisation through these protests. Selling magazines, getting donations, selling badges ect. Its the perfect opportunity.

+xHow do Trump supporters feel about the recent appointments? I am far from a trump supporter. I enjoy the chaos that comes from the lefts failure. From the beginning I wanted Sandy. The difference between Crooked Killary and Trump is we are far more likely to go to war with killary. No one should hold her as an example as progressive whatever that means. The left was so worried about arguing about transitioning gay vegetable labelling they didn't realise how intolerable they were to the working class.

Wouldn't say I'm a "supporter", more someone who given the choice between Trump/Clinton I'd go Trump.
In any case, I'm somewhat disappointed. I thought the GOP had moved on from their bullshit anti-marijuana, anti-gay marriage social conservatism. Similarly, I thought Trump would take the GOP away from it's neo-con foreign policy. I wanted a socially libertarian party that didn't go around invading everywhere, but it seems we're back to the Dubbya days.

Well it isn't a laughing matter when you live in this state. SA has power failures and rationing every summer. That's because its electricity generation is unreliable at best. In summer, they switch off entire suburbs. Never seen anything like that, even in Greece where the lights actually stay on even during earthquakes. I fail how to see that's down to renewable energy though. It seems to me to be poor infrastructure. As for Greece I'd be shocked if their energy sources weren't highly renewable based. Greece does have renewable energy. the difference is that they are doing it in a sustainable way and not shedding their base load when the open a wind farm. SA is pushing 50% renewables, and to top it all off, the Government closed down 2 major power stations at port pirie and torrens island. The result is, the state has no base load and insufficient power to cover its peak periods - hence a lot of power failures in Summer, and the stupid debacle where the state went dark during a storm. buy a Tesla powerwall battery...no more worries

+xThe only thing I agree with the tardtho on is renewable energy. Having an absolute laugh blaming SA's power outage on renewable energy ffs. Well it isn't a laughing matter when you live in this state. SA has power failures and rationing every summer. That's because its electricity generation is unreliable at best. In summer, they switch off entire suburbs. Never seen anything like that, even in Greece where the lights actually stay on even during earthquakes.

+x+xSolar and Wind Power is cost effective ? Now I'v heard everything. So why does SA have the most expensive electricity in the world forcing pensioners to die of the cold or heat exhaustion? And why is it the most unreliable like a third world tin pot? All these bel liberal ideas aren't so good in the real world. Out of touch with reality to say the least. I didn't say Wind power, where did I say wind? But Solar is now cheaper then most coal power , and Solar is getting cheaper who cares what SA does,,,,they can be many reason why SA price go up or down. nothing to do with cost of generating electricity One of the main reasons is 50% is generated from renewables - hence no security and the most expensive generation in the world.
