There's a rumour that 2 Asian sides, Uzbekistan & Australia, have been approached to discuss the invitational spot for the 2019 Copa America

Why would they want Uzbekistan? Haven't qualified for a WC, or even made an Asian Cup final... (at least not in recent times). Not an overly lucrative market either.

Current Asian Champs seems more likely. Like Japan in a previous tournament.

Would be excellent for us to get more exposure to these sorts of countries in a somewhat competitive tournament,

Just imagine having the Asian Cup, OFC Nations Cup and the Copa America in our trophy cabinet :-k

well they have had Jamaica this year and next year.

We're the only country with the top trophy from two different confederations (as far as EG and myself could recall), why not go for three?

Such a pointless tournament.

The 2016 Copa America is apparently a joint North/South America competition. Crazy.
