Meh, just make all drugs legal and let the consumers decide what they put in their bodies. Then you take the money out of the cartels hands and can regulate tax and contents.

Nothing new, NRL is intertwined with the bikies these days, those two Knights players were the drug dealers that would have kept Jardel Supplied.

The real crime is the waste of taxpayers money fighting a completely ineffectual "drug war". Bloke was probably just splitting a bag with mates.

As expected. On channel 7, this appeared for 30 seconds two hours ago on the 'Breaking News' bar, the program host couldn't even say it was Karmichael Hunt even though his name was on the screen. Hasn't appeared since on any news bulletin.

There are massive legal issues with saying anything more than he's been charged at the moment. Fox Sports News aren't even touching it FFS

Good to see the drug policy working so well in these sports. They brag about how they have the best policies in the world, 3 strikes, education and all that.

Have seen this described as a potential career ender for Hunt if he's found guilty. It most definitely won't be.

Those are the undisputed facts. No news outlet speculating on a anything other than his playing future though

I mean the last guy arrested was over a protest FFS Union is pretty decent, i think mostly because so many of them have been at university, so they have a career after rugby. Hell when i went to a ophthalmologist he was an ex wallabies player. The problem players are the ones that haven't got a career beale comes to mind. The news is saying that there is 4 gold coast titian players as well and the crimes are back when hunt was at the suns. No wonder why teams on the coast never do well. to busy on the drugs. GC is a massive bikie hub, the people on the GC where so glad for the bikie laws, because it was getting really bad.

People are kidding themselves if they think Union doesn't have the same recreational drug use as league. Nothing screams little white baggy more than a rich private school kid with too much time on their hands. They just have enough sense not to get caught

Have been following this all day and it appears Hunt & the couple of Titans boys have been collateral damage to a cocaine trafficking syndicate case (involving ex league player Jason Smith). Looks like he has acquired some cocaine and shared it with some mates.
A really dumb thing to do and he should've known better but I hope his life isn't destroyed of what appears to be some minor recreational drug use.
