Heard this a little while ago, but with Archie potentially exempt from the cap, Leijer gone midway through the season and Coe released, there could be room for him..
Would be disapointed to lose him, but at the same time we have two of the best young full backs in the comp, Geria & Galloway. Youngsters Murnane & Deng would make the step up as well..

He's a Melbourne Victory supporter though ;) I'm optimistic that he'll stay if we can get Archie's wage out of the cap, the bloke is super passionate about the club and will no doubt prefer to stay and compete for silverware than head off elsewhere. Hopefully we can have enough room in the cap to keep him happy.

Wait, how are you guys getting Archie's wage out of the cap? Is it through him being listed as a coach like Muscat was ages ago, or something like that?
This is news to me.

This is news to me. There's talk that there will be an allowance within the cap for the wages of players who are going on veteran status like Archie, I'm not sure whether it's full wage or just a portion though.

FBs seem really in demand. The 'Nix could do with at least one and Georgevski would be a good pickup, could play both sides

Big surprise that as soon as Victory and Smurfs complain about the cap that the FFA increase it, right after they've just made a Grand Final despite the issues. Meanwhile at WSW, they lose a bunch of their best players because of the cap, and the Roar lose Berisha to Victory for the same reason.
