(SA Update): we currently have 38 teams signed up so far in 2016 up from 29 teams in 2015 with registrations closing next Friday.

final total was 202 teams for the 2016 FFA Cup up 11 teams from 191 in the 2015 FFA Cup.

Great to see increase in participation. This is good for all tiers and associations.

Will more than likely have a stream going on youtube for Gisborne matches. Just ok'ing every thing with the powers that be at the club.

Thank god for modern technology. While there's no broadcast revenue to be earned, it's good to hear that some clubs can live stream the matches for the football community.

Anyone know if there are any real set up fees for this? Apart from paying the film crew of course. Are there any real licensing fees that need to be paid by the club?

Good to see the regional clubs coming back in Victoria. Ballarat, Goulburn, Albury-Wodonga and Gippsland Leagues represented this year. Only Bendigo, Warnambool and Sunraysia still to come. Still regionalising the first few rounds might help.

Victoria is still fairly small, only three 3 Hour + trips. So that's still ok.

Bendigo City GVS Border FC still to come as well. Very exciting.

If it's that easy then I hope other clubs do the same. If FFA can't show the matches, it'd be good to have other alternatives. Essentially like an unofficial football network.

Tbh i even wrote fc bendigo at first. Border FC and Murray United are shit names. What are they, a river?

Fnsw registrations need to be completed by the 17th and teams submitted for the draw on the 26th, still time to enter if you want. Looking forward to hopefully qualifying this year, wouldn't mind Bonnyrigg having a go also.

FFNT have confirmed that central zone clubs have been invited to compete this season which would be insane. 2016 cup can't start soon enough.
