Sydney United Blacktown City? South Hobart - if they win.
anyone else? Brisbane Strikers and FNQ, pending they both win their final matches. That would make a good addition to the Wiki page about teams who've progressed to the R32 over the years, much like the table on the NPL page which has a list of team by finals appearances. I've never edited on Wiki before, but if I can be bothered after the qualification is done, I'll give it a whirl ;)

It's not quite complete (need to add state flags and which years they appeared), but it's not bad for my first Wiki edit. Check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FFA_Cup

However i'm assuming Green Gully reserve has the capabilities of hosting an A-League side with a 10k capacity, so they could provide something different this year if they go further. Green gully don't have any fans and don't hold much neutral appeal, I couldn't imagine 10k ever watching them..even if they played victory. Heidelberg has a large dormant fan base and they came out of the woodwork against city, gully doesn't have that. Who's home ground is this?

Being there with 13,000 I honestly reckon you could've squeezed 15,000 there just if they packed in like sardines. Surprisingly the suburban roads handled the influx of people really well and the traffic congestion was almost non existent. The joint has potential for a second division if there ever is one.

Yep. Last year it was Frenchville (7-1 win) and the year before it was Magpies (6-1)

Meh r64 with A-League teams is unlikely.
Seems more probable that a r44 with NPL only would occur, then the winning 22 enter the r32

It is a cost of 22 extra games, but I think it would be good as the NPL teams play each other. Personally I would want the 10 A-League teams to be seeded away. I would also want the r44 and r32 drawn at the same time do the 2 NPL clubs know if they win they will play with specific a-league club

I would agree if we a 2nd national division definitely. I feel as if 64 is an inbalance and it loses its shine.

The benefit would be that local clubs gain national interest for a longer period and have more opportunity to make significant gains from participation. There would also be a better chance of lower league clubs going on a run on a national stage as often the state qualifiers are just whittled down to the top NPL clubs.

Would it be for the better though? The novelty is gone when 54 clubs can waltz on in. 32 is good. Keeps the best coming in and we see a good pattern. It's an open cup. It's not as if they can't join. They have to earn their right and I have no problem. If you are arguing on the base of exposure I am in favour of highlights package from round 1 to 7. But a ro64 for a 10 team comp is really embarrassing.

I think it would be good to see 44 NPL play each other to test themselves against interstate teams (also their own). It could mean eg NNSW gets 0-4 teams and Vic gets 0-8 teams to r32 under the current model, but Im ok with that.
