After reading the hamburger and chip thread I thought, What are some other places (obviously not hamburger and chips) that you have gone to or go to that you enjoy.

Melbourne has a few good pubs around which have some ripper parmas. There is one particular spot called MRS Parmas. The long list of Parmas is unreal. Has 4 different types of chilli and takes 4 days too make. Also has a nice list of beers.!

So if you are in Melbourne and fancy a quality Parma that's your spot.

Ill throw out there a throwback..... All you can eat pizza huts.... No longer around here in Victoria.

So what's your place to go?

or fond memories of somewhere ?

or a place the came and went so quickly?

Couple of months ago had to drive up to Shepparton for work, first thing I saw was an all you can eat pizza hut and felt like I'd stepped right back into the 80s (fair accomplishment considering I'm a 90s kid  )

For a relaxed meal Meatmother in Richmond is great for a feast of meat before the game. Good selection of beers and they do a great sour cola. The butcher across the road from meatmother has a little cafe thing at the back. They do two meats and a few different salads its pretty good. Last time i got the jerk chicken with roasted veggies. Fucking amazing.changes from day to day.

One of my favourite places is actually in Melbourne - an Italian restaurant/cafe called Mario's on Brunswick St. The Carbonara is amazing.

In Sydney some good (but unfortunately quite pricey) restaurants are Apollo (Greek, in Potts Point) and Mr Wong (Chinese, in the city).

As far as fast food places, there used to be a Greek place in my suburb with the best Souvlaki for $5. Every other day they did a two for one deal as well. It was great value, but probably sent them broke

They're not the greatest Schnitty's/Parmas, but if you want quantity over quality. Goni's Schnitzelria in Marrickville. There like 5 huge schnittys joined together.

Had a $50USD steak in America. Worth every single penny.

Said it in the Hamburger thread, the only fast food I want here, of the ones I tried, from America is Jimmy John's.

Coco's Pizza & Double Dogs on Warragul rd. They do double dogs as the name suggests but I'd recommend the Maxi Dog which is basically a hot dog or two wrapped in a pastry esque pizza base. with whatever the fuck you want.

Heine, you've been to Mr Crackles in Darlinghurst yeah?

Taste of Texas BBQ in Waitara near Hornsby is good.
Tornados Grill in Bonnyrigg was good, too
Oxford Tavern does lots of good American food (do burgers too but they have heaps of other stuff, highlight being the animal style tater tots)
Messina of course for gelato

Hell yeah. I tried to get EG, and Draupy to eat there after the derby, but they went and had a dodgy curry down the road.

They missed out. Tiny & Pala thoroughly enjoyed their Mr. Crackles experience. :)
