What's the verdict on this age group now?
Considering this team is not the strongest we could field either. Is it really third string like people were saying after Vietnam or is it more like half first string and the rest second string?
Can anyone list the players who are apparently not playing that would strengthen this team at the moment? Seeing the players at this tournament slowly get better and if we win this it will make it very hard for the coaching staff to possibly pick the so called best. I was luck enough to see in the flesh at both tournaments last year all of the boys and after watching now lets just say good luck to Vidmar when picking the squad for India. This is a great thing and will be disappointing if any miss out. Regardless we have one more game to go so good luck to all the boys and well done last night.

Has made it very difficult for sure and no matter who gets selected someone will want to create a conspiracy theory. Are you able to say why your son decided not to take a place at the CEO and to what extent that was influenced by his chosen club if at all.

Player identification and selection at this level for me is really a non-issue.
As far as I'm concerned there is probably 10 players for every position more than good enough.
What I'm looking for is a style of play, tactical instructions, player technical strengths and faults.

Undies not for any good or bad reason just a decision that was made as a family and what we believed to be the best decision at the time. Don't think we could have made a bad decision either way and respected both club and COE at the time and always will. One thing I will say the club had no influence at all, they were fantastic and very supportive either way.

Access the player in 6 competencies. 1. Winning mentality 2. Emotional stability 3. Personality 4. Explosiveness 5. Game intelligence 6. Body and Ball control I can elaborate if you wish?

What about team work. I reckon that's a huge point. Players need to be able to work within a team environment. Players such as Bulut have probably been left out for that reason.

i saw a post on the ASEAN Football News asking why Cambodia fans cheered on Australia rather than Thailand. the reason is the 6-0 thumping they copped from Thailand and they are sick of Thailand trolling Cambodia.
Thailand fans were Butthurt because they feel they should have had the support because they think they represent all of asean when they play Australia.

markedly different from the first game, maybe they didn't have enough time together, or to adjust to the conditions. Also playing on artificial turf is so much different to grass, the ball was sticking and pinging all over the place, which is really hard to adjust to. Some great displays of ball control and 1v1, if I were to be critical, it would be on the tactical side of the game, as it is not as important at this stage, but a major focus during training for them now. The future looks good after watching this game.

I think it goes back to the old Khmer empire and the two brothers getting a half each. Thai has one history version and Cambodia has another, whilst they both accuse the other of desecrating Angkor Wat.

There's a bit of a political and cultural stoush between Thailand and Cambodia at the moment, mostly described in the wiki article on the Cambodian–Thai border dispute, which may explain the leaning of the Cambodian crowd.

The ASEAN YouTube channel uploaded the dancing Thai pen taker as it's own video - to be fair the Thai people in the comments section are saying he was being a prick as well.
