I don't think I payed as much attention as I did to season 1 as the other seasons, because at the time I didn't realise how great the show would be, nor did I understand everything happening.

and then I realised I couldn't remember everything in season 2 and 3 so I thought i'd watch them too:lol:

Tyrion is much better in the earlier seasons too.

There's no conceivable way that this is the end of the franchise, surely there'll be spinoff series, etc.

There are so many more stories in the Game of Thrones world that can be told once the main one is wrapped up. It's a sure thing.

The reason why Breaking Bad was so good was because it actually ended. Hopefully they have some balls and actually definitively end it, wrapping up the character arcs as best they can

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I think GOT will end but they can do a "War of the Usurper" spin-off. So many costumes and sets designed that it makes sense to do that prequel so that stuff can be reused. Much like BCS and Breaking Bad.

Another spin-off could be the war of conquest.

Im not well versed on all the other aspects of Westeros but I think the story of Roberts Rebellion would be great.
Also the rise of the night king would be good to see. Obviously he has attacked before as some people treat the white walkers as old wives tales.

I'd love to see a series of feature films chronicling this. They've already cast it, basically.

Too bad they didn't keep the director for that episode for the new season, but kept the one from the Terminator v Jason Bourne scene from the end of the Braavos arc.

Maybe they're saving him for the final season.
