TBH I'm surprised at the Euro ratings You don't have to do anything special to watch them on Fox if you already have sports. And even though the game times are poor it is school holidays, and you'd think people would at least be staying up or getting up earlier for the bigger teams

Unfortunately the only way to get a true indication of the value of these ratings is to compare them to the Euros 4 years ago. Anything else is just speculative and shaped by personal, natural biases

Sat TV @IntChampionsCup #ICCVICJUV Gem 53k So much for people indiscriminately watching whatever live sport is advertised and on commercial TV Those ratings prove that choice is behind viewership. Nobody was tricked into thinking that game was worth anymore than it was

Those ratings prove that choice is behind viewership. Nobody was tricked into thinking that game was worth anymore than it was I think the ICC has 'slight' potential, but the comp is structured too awkwardly. Eg, how can Victory win if they only play one game and the others play 2? Probably better off having 4 HAL teams Vs 4 European teams, and it's all a knockout cup-style tournament from then on.

Thought the Euro ratings weren't too bad considering what time they were on in Australia.

It's also strange how Mr Football always posts when the AFL wins the night. Never posts when the NRL beats the AFL as was the case in TWO games last Saturday night. Thinks we are all stupid.

+xThere is a specific AFL forum for Mr Football to post in now It is relevant though - if football doesn't have targets to aim for, we'll just wallow in mediocrity.

I don't want to see fox footy fox footy fox footy. It's irrelevant and you can take it to Big Footy and all you're other relatives.

Very ordinary fixture.
Just because Leicester win doesn't mean people watch, support or are interested in them.
The Manchester derby is the early game in a few weeks that should be better.

Even if the EPL outrated the A-League tenfold, let's not forget that the EPL has been around for a very long time, and is considered to be one of the greatest professional leagues of any sport in the world.
It's no reflection on our 11-year-old A-League.

"A below par fixture getting double what the A-League usually got on a Friday night. " What a sad little man. The schadenfreude is strong in this Cnut.
