+xI think the criticism of Howard is unwarranted. Kid is only 20, does well in a side that knows how he plays, does a tremendous amount of work off the ball and puts himself in goal-scoring positions. Has he done enough to push for a starting position normally? Nah. But he also isn't that appalling that he shouldn't be given a chance. Both his goals against Murray two weeks ago were quality, particularly the first one. tbh I didn't realise he was still only 20, feels like he's been around longer. Fair enough to keep him around still. Anyway looks like he is starting up front so will see how he goes.

Melbourne Victory winger Marco Rojas scored his fourth goal in five international appearances as New Zealand beat Fiji 2-0 in Lautoka on Saturday.Rojas struck in the 55th minute, pouncing on a defensive error and doubling the All Whites' lead with an easy finish.Chris Wood had opened the scoring six minutes earlier, with the Kiwis earning three valuable points in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying. Victory forward Jai Ingham was an unused substitute for the All Whites, who return to New Zealand for another match against Fiji on Tuesday. http://www.melbournevictory.com.au/article/marco-rojas-scores-as-all-whites-beat-fiji/1xel61zxnougf1o1wf95ntzfby#e6s8zz6SKHSIi4It.99

So how many 0's do we reckon Troisi added to his marquee contract after last night's performance? lol
I sincerely hope that he realises that his best bet of making it to Russia is to stick with the Vuck.

Feel he deserves marquee status with us and tbh would be stupid to leave us in the season before the WC.

Boyssssssssssssssss Melbourne Victory in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Perth Glory defender Rhys WilliamsARGUABLY the biggest club in the A-League is closing in on the signature of a current Socceroo for next season despite the finals series nearing. Fox Sports understands that Melbourne Victory is in advanced negotiations with Perth Glory star Rhys Williams over a move to the club for the start of next season. However, Sydney FC – who have pursued the 14 time Socceroo all season – remain in the mix and have not yet given up the fight for his services. Western Sydney Wanderers, Newcastle Jets and Glory - with a renewed bid - are all understood to have also made a play for the talented defender. The 28-year-old will be out of contract in the west at the end of this season following a chequered first campaign back in Australia.\

Marco Rojas is contracted to Melbourne Victory for 2018 and has no thoughts of leaving MARCO Rojas has nothing more on his mind than Melbourne Victory and the New Zealand national team. And, for this year at least, the two go nicely hand-in-hand. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/football/a-league/teams/victory/marco-rojas-is-contracted-to-melbourne-victory-for-2018-and-has-no-thoughts-of-leaving/news-story/5bf5d1fc9c2a47b23a669ba2e6741cae

Love Georgie, but we need a more consistent LB. Broxham's versatility means that we don't really need a specialist back up in that area.
Would love an Asian LB, last one in the league in Lee Ki Jee was very good and would slot in nicely with ACL.

Well, he didn't really. Lying would have been saying something like "No I am not going to play for the Jets" or "I haven't been speaking to them and have no intention to play anywhere but MV" I actually imagine Georgie saying it awkwardly and then looking away in a suss manner.
