Yep Glenorchy stated their intentions early on that they want to win the cup from outside NPL and be the first team promoted back into the NPL at the end of next season. After watching them only just get past Kingborough I thought they might be reaching a touch to far but am happy to be wrong.

In the early game Olympia beat Southern Championship club Nelson Eastern Suburbs 12-0.

My opinion It will be either Olympia or Zebras and it will be flip of a coin.

Glenorchys stated goal is FFA cup and their side is as good as the NPL clubs and after watching live the way Launceston City beat South Hobart on the weekend was impressive but can one of them do it two more times? I'd love for one of these two to get up but I'd still have to rate them both as outsiders.

one thing is for sure both these matches will be good.

Tough road trip to Bathurst for Rockdale yesterday. Long bus trip and the team and coaches having to take time off work. Thankfully the boys got on the scoresheet early and followed it with a 2nd not long after. 2 late goals and a long and bus trip home capped of a good away trip and change of scenery for the boys. That's one of the best things about the Cup for the players and fans, playing teams and venues you don't normally get to play...

Results from Canberra last night

Woden-Weston 4-1 Queanbeyan City (AET)

Also, it seems both the Riverina Rhinos and Weston Molonglo league games will be rescheduled for next weekend, so that WMFC can travel to Griffith to face Riverina on May 20 @ EW Moore Oval. The Rhinos (last i checked today) are still scheduled to face the FFA COE at home on the same day.
