Tbh i actually 100% agreed with the crux of what he was trying to point out and that is he was trying to combat the EuroSnob mentality and defeatist mentality of Australian football fans through statistical research... bit like you Decentric. Albeit he didn't convey he's points quite as articulatly lol

After reading his posts I studied up on ELO and saw the value in it as a comparative too. It's brilliant for sports betting as it points out what the odds for teams should be and thus what presents as good value bets on the market. I'd love to properly get into the betting side of it but too many comittments 

Anyway I miss the guy for the random brilliant points he'd make in the argumentative combative way he went about it. Pure shitstorm

lol the shit that comes out on here.  tardtho was so bad it was hard to believe he was authentic.  he used to get so pissed when i replied with gifs to his rants.  i saw 50calpuskas or whatever his name is comment on an asian cup thread this week. he was one of the loosest posters on here.

there was a couple posters around that time.  i thought someone was getting banned frequently and having to start with a new profile

I miss adrtho’s input. He demonstrated, through his post’s a wide knowledge of many sports, and world politics. This forum would benefit greatly if member’s  commented on adrtho sporting knowledge, rather than attack his writing prowess.

This is not true. I joined four years ago. I have never posted before, and I am not adrtho’s multi, nor am I any other member’s multi. I just thought the guy was brilliant and spent many nights being entertained by adrtho’s vast knowledge. I miss his postings.

Last time I looked I was a female. I am certain that Adrtho is male. This is my first post and I am offended that my post is not accepted as genuine . It has taken me four years to to contribute to this forum and you and others have discredited my input.

I remember seeing the first one of them and thinking, "Yep, it all makes sense now."  He actually used to argue with himself to pump up the post numbers.

Amazing though to keep it up for so long and in so much depth with such bad english.

Sheer brilliance but bloody hell he must have had a fair bit of free time to do that as long as he did.  Sometimes the arguments would rage on for hours. 

i vaguely remember someone talking about him doing post grad research on how easy it was to fool people online with fake accounts. or something like that.
