The stream that broke the bubblers valve was probably the least of his indiscretions... Drink driving... Refuse to pull over... Drive disqualified... Urinated on a dude... Set a dude on fire... Vandalism... Drink driving again.. Some thing with Anthony Watts... Injured allegedly trying to climb his own balcony... Broke team grig ban... Pissed in himself in front if a camera... Yep heaps better than jerking off or having sex... Cmon man, if you're gonna troll at least make an effort...

Dear Members, As we move closer to the start of the 2019 season I thought it was an opportune time to keep you updated on club issues and share with you some of the changes that have taken place at the Bulldogs that we believe will be of enormous benefit as we look to return to being the benchmark club in the NRL. We needed to start off by addressing some key areas that had to be fixed. Firstly, we promised to finalise the contractual dispute between our former coach and the club and we did this, bringing the matter to a close in early May. In doing so I believe we reached an agreement that showed respect for both parties and was the right thing to do. We then needed to turn our attention to the challenges that we inherited around the salary cap. This meant making some tough decisions, but in the knowledge that they were in the best long-term interests of the club. In making these decisions I believe that we showed those players involved the dignity and respect that they deserved. In football terms the end of the season offered much hope for the future. Our NRL side finished the season strongly, winning four of their final six games, and we all saw the emergence of some exciting youngsters who will form the nucleus of our side going forward. Our Intrust Super Premiership team had a superb season, winning not only the Grand Final, but going a step further to take out the Interstate Challenge against the Redcliffe Dolphins from Queensland on a memorable afternoon at ANZ Stadium before this year’s Grand Final. We also saw positive signs for the future with our SG Ball team making their Grand Final, while our Jersey Flegg and Harold Matthews sides both made their respective Finals series. This was backed up by the development of our Women’s teams with both the Harvey Norman and Tarsha Gale sides performing strongly. To make sure that we continue to develop our football department, we have appointed some of the best individuals currently working in the game. We brought back former Kangaroo Strength and Conditioning Coach Tony Ayoub to become the new Manager of High Performance, while complementing our Player Welfare area, by appointing Yvette Davey to the new role of Player Engagement Coordinator, focussing on the well-being of players, wives and families within our Top 30 squad. In addition, we welcomed back former Bulldog Mark Hughes, to strengthen our recruitment area and work alongside the experienced Warren McDonnell. We have also strengthened our medical team by bringing in highly credentialed former Kangaroos Doctor David Givney to oversee all of our injury and recovery processes. Off the field we have spent a great deal of time reviewing our connection with the Junior League, which resulted in the appointment of Nathan Mairleitner as our new Manager for the local area, in addition to addressing the importance of the country system by forming a partnership with the Far North Coast that will see the Bulldogs provide resources and assistance to rugby league in that area. We have also worked hard on the governance of the club, establishing sub committees for football, business development, finance, audit and risk, in addition to developing a forward thinking Strategic Plan for the club that will have our family culture at the heart of everything we do. In addition to our overall governance improvements, the Members will be aware that the Board is proposing changes to the constitution which will remove proxy voting to be replaced with postal voting. This will allow individual Members to have their voice on board elections recorded. The resolution to appoint the NSW Electoral Commissioner as the Returning Officer will again further strengthen the integrity of the process. In closing I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our great club and to issue an invitation to attend the upcoming AGM which will be on: SUNDAY 17 FEBRUARY starting at 10am in the Paragon Room at the Canterbury League Club We encourage all members to be there and to take the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions around how we as a club can make improvements. As we said when we took over as a Board it is vital that there is honesty and transparency around everything that we do and we value your feedback as we strive to continue to find ways to improve. Thanks again for your passion and support for the club. It is what makes us special. Lynne Anderson

..........
I am very happy that the club is leaving no stone unturned looking for improvements on and off the field.
I expecting a great 2019, in the sense that we should see a committed team run out and give it all they have got each week, playing with pride and purpose.
We probably don't have the players/experience to be a to contender, but I will be happy to see us moving in the right direction.

Steve, I finished watching "The Bodyguard" the other day. It was well worth the watch. The first couple of eps were really good, then it dropped off a little for a while, but it finished very well, especially with the unpredictable ending. And, no, I haven't watched any other videos reportedly circulating. It was ghastly enough that my frequenting of NRLUNIVERSE exposed me to stills in the Twitter feed in the corner during recent times...

Mbye named Tigers captain.... https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/tremendous-honour-mbye-to-captain-tigers-in-2019-20190208-p50wh6.htmlHe's a good talker and seems vocal on and off the field, which is a key attribute you need, and also seems to have good rapport with refs, but I'm not sure he has the inspirational qualities. Still, they could do much worse.

Yes mate definitely preferable to the videos of the red headed dill (in his defence I think he was at a very silly age). Like the Netflix series..you can get them in one hit and indulge. Bad Blood was another good one...about the Mafia in Quebec with Anthony LaPaglia in the first season. Just journeying through Fargo and finished Season 2. Really loved it with some rather dark humour mixed in with the action.

+xAt a impressionable age and obviously influenced by the perverted culture the (NRLol darlings) roosters foster... Anything like that revolts me no end, but it's their business really & I suppose no harm is done. I don't have to like it though & I'll always regard bashing women as so much worse & beyond forgiveness, in fact I can't understand their thinking in doing it, so I doubt there is any thinking because who in their right mind would do that... As for the NRL, I'd be fascinated to see what evidence they have of any harm done to the game by mad Monday or the grose tapes... Granted, they can't allow Barba or Hayne or anyone who does things like that to be registered, it'd show tolerance of despicable abuse & violence, but the rest, boys will be boys...it doesn't make it right, nobody has to like it, but it's their spare time, just don't shove it in everyone's faces. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch some shadow boxing (bad joke).

I don't think they'd play Shadow Boxer at ANZ, but more than likely would at Newcastle, Parra, Saints & possibly a few other venues... I'll have the mute button ready...

Am calling out Virgin Australia for conduct unbecoming... Most of us tall dudes like and aisle seat when possible now we can't fluke the emergency aisle... Last 3 flights, when checking in all the aisle and window seats have appeared on screen as full leaving only middle seats or economyx... So I bite the bullet and go economyX in the emergency row, only to board and discover several aisle and window seats available... Had this happen a few times at the back end of last year too... Three flights in a row this week, it ain't just coincidence.. Its a rort... $45 x however many suckers like me adds up pretty quick... #virginrort... #virginaustralia...

Not very likely. Most probably you're trying to book yourself on at short notice & they've already nearly sold out. Also, it's not uncommon for passengers to not turn up for their booked flights, even if it means they lose their payment. And just because they're not on the flight, they've still paid for their seat, which can't be reallocated.

Really loved it with some rather dark humour mixed in with the action. I've lined up Bad Blood next. I found a sealed Blu-ray of "Inglorious B'stards" here last week. I can't remember buying it or anything. Anyway, knowing nothing about it, I put it on & found it to be good in some ways & bad in others. It was a bit weird that it was a "Weinstein" production for starters. Putting that aside, some scenes were quite well done, but it turned out to be one of those fantasy ww2 films trying to re-write the way Hitler died, so regardless of anything good about it, the thing was a disaster for that reason. It didn't have to be based on real events, but geez, trying to bs about the way he died was rubbish.
