We find out the draw tomorrow I believe? City will get Porto- you wait and see. Getting the other Manc team would be huge- already knocked them out of European competition once, to do it twice would be pretty sweet...

Even though we knocked out Porto last year I feel it will be tougher this time. They are also vying for top spot in their league and defensively are up there, old Pepe will be as rough as always and Casillas still playing well their attack can't match ours thats for sure. Love Spurs to knock over city and barca should do the job, we will play Barca. Roll on Fulham next league game.

All this talk about how they were lucky and "if it wasn't for that own goal", and it feels like ground-hog day- If Mahrez didn't miss that penalty in the dying minutes at Anfield... If the ball didn't bounce off the cross-bar for Origi in the 96th minute... If City hadn't been sunk by a Crystal Palace wonder goal... If Man United had just been onside at that late set-piece... If Milner missed that penalty against Fulham... If Man City didn't include the stadium as part of the deal and the Abu Dhabi royal family bought Aston Villa or Everton instead... If Man United didn't clinch all those wins in Fergie time... You look at any title-winning team and there's a tonne of "if's" no matter the season. So much has gone in LFC's favour this season, but there comes a point where they get lucky too often for it to be pure coincidence. Playing below-average and getting the win is the mark of champion teams, and that has happened more than I can recall off the top of my head this season. I still maintain that LFC are more used to playing under pressure than Man City the past 18 months or so, and sooner or later Man City will be put under pressure by better sides than Fulham or Huddersfield...

yep agree on our "luck" or is it just the constant persistence that forces the result. A game of 2 halves, they started off forming to 5 backs once under the pump, this had them under pressure with our counters, leaving space for Robbo/TAA attacking the flanks and crossing, we should have put a couple more away by HT. They came out a different team 2nd and changed formation, they had the lions share of possesion even though stats say otherwise but overall we stood firm or hung in there, yep they had 2 clear chances from counters that were not taken. Was it luck ? yes it was, we hit the upright twice if I recall right and had other chances not taken. 10 corners to 3. Were always under pressure no matter the standing or season the way I see it But we don't have experienced prem winners in the squad but for ol Milly.....were riding the gauntlet imo. What we have is highly strung Klopp 150klm hour players, were pressing pressing all the time when we could have shut the channels and held station for the 1nil win, this is not LFC's way - edge of the seat viewing. I actually thought thats it were done, why is it for eg the Bayern game we showed such a complete performance the result was a given long before FT and back in the epl after the break its like I'm looking at Klopp's personality playing in front of my eyes lol.......

He still wouldn't have got to the loose ball before Ba swooped on it, and his only chance at stopping his run to goal would've been to slide tackle him from behind which could've seen him red-carded...

A good recovery being 1 down early last Saturdays game. Very sloppy soft goal - Long unmarked open goal. Not a really good game by us till Klopp made subs getting Hendo Milly on. Then we lit up much better from that. Mo gets hold of the ball from on halfway and goes for it, had support from Bobby to his right But he decided to be selfish and finally gets the monkey off his back great 50th Goal. What a deserved goal for Hendo backing up another attack - was really happy for him and obviously closing the game. Not a top game by us but belief to the end and take 3points. Next up CL @ home vsing Porto Wed.

Nice to score early in the 1st leg @ home vsing Porto. Keita, no matter a deflection good to see he on the score sheet again, effective this part of the season thankfully. Great play for the 2nd goal - clinical. Hendo again being very effective his part of it. Roll on 2nd leg.

A 2-0 win and a slip, but all ended in LFC's favour yet again. The haters had this match marked in their calendars and slunk away with blue balls- how sweet! Great to see them hit in rapid fire the second half, 1-0 from Mane to give them the edge and then 2-0 from Mo to really put the salt in the fresh wound just a minute or two later. Chelsea didn't play terribly based on their season, they were just out-gunned by a better side. Their away record has been terrible as well. Their fans were right about Mo's bomb- but I'm not sure they realised it'd land in the back of their net!

yes great result @ home vsing Chelsea. It really confirmed the squad is so switched on and not much is stopping them atm and this carried over vsing Porto ! What a result considering Porto would have expected learning from last season and @ home. 6-1 agg is a trashing once again. Bring on Barca so looking forward to that. Cardiff in the league coming up.

Never worried about this mornings' result. LFC looked well in control from the outset, unlucky not to be 2-0 up by h/t but carried on business as usual in the second half. Last week Mo scored a bomb, today Gini scored a bullet- didn't even see the ball, I just saw the net bulge and heard the commentator yell Winjaldum's name and that was when I first realised he was the one who scored it. The penalty to Milner was more tense- if that was saved there's the risk Cardiff shit-house their way back into a 1-1 draw, but for that final 10 minutes you could see the match was safe. Here's hoping the Everton thrashing spurs Man United into a much improved showing against City...

As expected Hudders were swept aside. Strong game by all, Mo/Sadio braces Mo top goal scorer for now with Sadio and Aguero right behind him.. Keita fastest LFC goal in the 1st minute ! Studz started up Firmino rested and Fabino. Not really sure if I saw Studz do much tbh. Everyone else ran well. Robbo, what a LB he is becoming and his cross's. Happy to see Shaquri get a run and rippa seeing Ox back ! Bring on Barca.
