nearly bowls bancroft but they get a bye
Any sizeable lead here could be handy with lyon!

ah thats a real shame
Australia really needed to dig deep and survive 10 overs here and couldn't do it
Warner out trying to leave, fair enough. That was a bad wicket though from bancroft...

13 off broads 6th over. At least he's starting to tire
Ali bowling well changes the equation mind you...

6 off that over and its drinks
I'm guessing woakes to bowl at the other end. Probably get 3-4 good overs out of him so another tricky period

Morning all. I missed all the action up till now.
Seems like Australia is hitting out, which isn't the worst idea.
I see Bairstow failed again. And Ali too...
Woakes unbeaten - as per.
No Anderson is a huge blow for England.

some signs of fatigue from the bowlers already
if we were none down here Australia are probably ahead of the match given the bowling should deteriorate
There have been so many times in this match where I felt "survive a couple more overs and there will be joy" but we haven't been good enough
still time to change things

Is he gone, or could he bowl tomorrow?

smith hit in the groin first ball
England appeal for lbw but way too high, aiming for the wrong middle stump I think....

leg slip and silly mid on against smith
commentators think the silly mid on is to annoy smith
worked against haydos
