Could we win from here? We’ve been behind for most of the game.

+x+x+x+xTell him to leave the slog sweep at home. Last over before lunch.. can the genius get his century. No he played out a maiden from Ali. 107 runs for the session. 140 ish lead and building with Smith leading the way again. Just for interests sake how many Tests did Smith miss.. and how many of said Tests did we win? Just before Smith was banned he was struggling. South Africa had worked him out.

+x+xHead really struggling - some good pace bowling from Broad. Broad has broadened (scuse pun) his repertoir over the years. He used to be rather one dimensional.. now throws in cross seamers, scrambled seamers.. leg cutters and can swing it. Makes him a very clever and dangerous bowler. Blokes like Hazlewood cud do well to follow his lead.. when conditions dont suit his bowling. I know what leg cutters are. What does a scrambled seam and a cross seam do to ball trajectory, Baggers?

+x+x+xTell him to leave the slog sweep at home. Last over before lunch.. can the genius get his century. Smith is no genius for mine. He condoned cheating and was a weak character as a captain, bringing the position into disrepute. Hence, he is morally bankrupt. I'd love a few batters to come along, succeed, and keep Smith and Warner out of the team. Few of my mates like cricket, of both genders, but they all have a hypercritical view on ball tampering. Du Plessis should be replaced as SA captain too. I think Smith is strutting around on the pitch as though he is captain again. I found the cheating episode to be abhorrent. I don't care how well Smith bats, or how good his tactical knowledge is, his actions were disgraceful in condoning the even more disgraceful Warner's intent. As a team leader of men, morally Smith is a total failure. Through the TCA Members' network, one of Paine's best mates, a cricketer known to all reading this, said Paine was gobsmacked about the ball tampering issue. He had no idea of the plot. Any known ball tamperer , should never be captain or vice captain again - of any team. Smith is no genius for mine.
As a batsman.. the man is a genius.

Is the secret south Africa discovered to have the best bowling attack in the world in bowling friendly conditions and play him at home?

Gosh you don't forgive easy decentric! It was a year ban for an infringement that normally Carrie's a 1 match suspension!
Remind me never to cross you! Haha

Cross seam usually makes the ball jump from a good length. White ballers use it often. Scrambled prob does the same.

It is not so much a question of availability for selection after ball tampering, but leadership of a team. I couldn't believe that Smith, Bancoft and Warner thought at the time that cheating was no big deal - just they got caught. The two leaders supposed to be leading the team and setting the example cheated, which was a shocking example.

Poms 4-251.
161 Aussie lead with 6 wickets in hand.
As long as these two stay there, things are looking a bit better for us.

I’m getting great pleasure watching the Poms chasing leather!
It hasn’t happened enough in this game.
