Superb bowling by our boys today grazor.

Excellent rib tickling stuff from Cummins. Always like it when he revs it up. He too has 3.

Can’t the Poms just walk instead of review every dismissal?

Brute of a lifting ball from Cummins to send Bairstow back to the sheds.

100 wickets to Cummins!

Great ball from GOAT with a fabulous catch to Paine to send Bairstow back to the pavilion.

GOAT takes his 4th.

Is GOAT off your hate list now, Baggers?

Went over to the umpire and showed him his wrist where ball hit. Little did he know that it also grazed the wristband.

Before you watched, England successfully reviewed about 4- 5 dismissals from a dodgy umpire.

100 to Cummins

350 to Lyon.  They are a two man wrecking machine. The Poms have no answer. How sweet it is.

One of the great pleasures of life is watching Poms walking off the ground  after being dismissed in the Ashes in Pommyland!

Love it!

Particularly after them giving us a hiding for the first three days in this test.

It’s unforgiveable letting that get out of hand after Aussies were 122-8 first dig

Let’s see how you cope with Jofra at St John’s Wood...

The momentum turned England's way when we let them get that 90 lead. What was on the second day. We got it back the next day and have kept it since. The ebbs and flows of test cricket is what makes it so good.

Is that his home ground? Has only played 28 FC games. 133 wickets @23.4. Pretty impressive.

Cummins is getting back to form. Reckon it is you that has to cope with him. Our quicks which may include Starc and Hazlewood will have their backs up.

I think the tour of india really changed lyon

his biggest weakness was taking advantage of favourable conditions. He's fixed that and is dominant on a 5th day pitch here!

great bowling today from cummins

I'd advocate rotating bowlers. Pattinson is our most talented but I wonder if nerves got to him. Starc's body is fragile. Have him and starc alternate each test to preserve their fragile bodies

Patto bowled well in the second innings when I watched him bowl, Grazor.

I think in the interests of preserving him, I’d rotate him with Starc for the next Test at Lords.

Although will Siddle be as effective on the Lords pitch as he was in this Test at Edgbaston?

Nine is shocking, Baggers.

Gday Dc,
Note I never complain about 9.
I am one of the majority of Aussies that do not have fox, so without
9 showing some cricket I would be bereft of being able to watch any.
I'll take a few adds to be able to watch it.

As I am an early to bed, early to rise person, usually fall asleep in the first
session & tape the rest to watch am, then read all the posts, hence my comments later.
I do get a chuckle from many of the posts.

I thought you weren't going to mention re Smith , Warner & co anymore?

On the list of fast bowlers that slogged it out, my favourite from my era was M. Hughes,
whom I still consider one of the all time greats & great to show that the stats show this.

Paine has mishandled a few balls.

Having a bad day.

Gday Dc again,
jaszyjim - not a slag off at Paine, but is he not staying down like he used to?
My memory is, he would start to move horizontal before moving vertically.
He now seems to start to rise very early. This I noted first when he missed
a difficult chance off Smith & yesterday when he went the wrong way to Siddle.
Not saying they would have taken anyway, it just made me look at his movement.
