We are up 3-0 against the side that beat Nepal 7-0. Looking forward to the game against Nepal in Canberra next month would that make you stay at home because the game won't be much of a contest or would you go to see if someone can beat Archie's record? :)

I’ll take wins every day of the week. I thought we’d get beat in Kuwait so let’s just sit back, relax and enjoy the victory

If Kuwait want anything from this match they need to bring on their two stars ASAP but overall a good performance from the Roos soft goals but I'm sure we'll take it. Wish we stopped with this passing around at the back nonsense especially against sides like these should be playing for corners or really go at them.
We should be winning all these first round group games like this doesn't matter if its Kuwait, Jordan, Nepal or Taiwan

+xAnyone noticed Taggart is making a presence? All he needs now is to score He looks great. The movement and touches. Looks sharp

Good reading. Don't need to be too concerned about Borrello if he hasn't lifted today. It'll come.

Jordan leading Paraguay in a friendly 2:0. Same Paraguay post 2:0 in Japan. Decent Jordan at home and perhaps Paraguay can't be too interested. Food for thought.

Giannou for Taggart on 62. Mabil for Leckie on 63 and Amini for Irvine on 82. Good that we keep it up. A slight shame we could see Souttar or Hrustic but I'd start both vs Nepal.

Yemen 2:2 with Saudi. Wow. Game in Bahrain. Hope they hold on. That group has been thrown massively open.

Missed the last 20 minutes but I think the game had run out of fizz by then in the heat.
0-3 is a good start.

Can we please muck around on the ball in the opponent's half instead.. thank you
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

yer pretty much game over. We settled on the HT score. Sound fist up game well done boys. Mooy class - some of his pass's and movement was there to see and a peach of strike for his goal.

+x+x+xI reckon we’ll lose. Our Asian Cup efforts were just foreshadowing how we’ll go in qualifying tbh. I certainly don't have my hopes up. If Sainsbury is a shoo in as Daddy's pet and how poor he was in the Asian Cup I am preparing for the worst. We should win 3-0. 3-1 if they get a pen.

There was no way I was going to stay up for the match. This is one of the quietest Socceroos threads in a long time.
