I agree that global orders can be an overreach (I have not read the proposal in detail), but if it pertains to an order from a crime here then that can be considered ok. some defendants can't name people in court cases here, should that be waived as well?
The real issue is that x is showing ultra violent and pornographic material. It's easily viewable by anyone. Broadcasters have standards, and he needs to abide by them. I haven't seen a coherent non-psychotic argument for why everyone should be able to watch and share that.

What's worse is that one of the appeal judges said that "3 of the boys were willing participants" all aged 12-13 years at the time. if that was said of a female victim like Grace Tame or Higgins it would make national headlines.

What might have influenced them to GET IT SO COMPLETELY WRONG that not ONE of the High Court agreed with them? The judge did not rule that little grubby rapist GUILTY of any crime... it was a defamation case he was ruling on... The Judge said he raped her. Therefore he is guilty of rape. Rape is a crime. He has been labelled a rapist-literally-in the media. It amounts to the same thing Anyway I'm not defending Lehrman. The entire case was tainted by bias from the outset, by the media, the DPP, during the trial and most of all by politics of the day. This is Justice in 2024.
