Kuwait game is of massive importance to secure early progression. Both games appears tricky. Kuwait are much better under their new manager.

Luongo will be ready but he should probably sit this one out. Holland and Ruka deserve a recall but I don't expect it. Leckie and Behich can forget it but I know both will be picked. Good is ready to be the 4th CB. Susnjar still not in Mlada Boleslav squad. There's not much that'll keep regulars like Risdon, Jeggo and Goodwin out while Duke has a decent claim. Giannou is a must for this window I feel. Despite his lack of goals this season he's been playing regularly and his size will be valuable here.

not a bad squad although cant see federici being in as he hasnt even been in the squad for weeks at stoke.  squad also needs lyndon dykes before we lose him.  scoring assisting every week.  defs agree with holland and ruka, 2 in form players that have been cruelly mistreated in the national team

I suggested Glover in another thread to get some exposure but it was met with rejection. Just go Redmayne then. Ruka and Holland have been diabolical for the national team and are the last bits of the Holger legacy. Despite that, they've aged well. I think Ruka has the bigger chance over Holland but I'm not sure if Arnold has plans for either of them.

My tips are 3:0 Australia in both games. We'll need a bit of time to wear Kuwait down while I don't think we'll put a dogged Nepal to the sword in their own backyard as we stay in low gear.

With Coronavirus I really wonder how all the other matches are going to pan out. There's going to be a few issues I suspect. 

Need to go full strength. These are must-win games as we need the last two to be dead rubbers ahead of the Copa. 

We won't beat Kuwait by 3-0 that's for sure.  The better AFC nations worked us out years ago. 

BS - the Middle east teams have always struggled against us at home.

Tried to find my old post to copy and paste it in case anyone was interested, but basically we can seal first place in March with two wins and if Kuwait v Jordan is a draw or Kuwait win.

Surely they've got an idea where Nepal will have their home games by now, nothing on wiki yet though.

Kuwait are gonna smash the Socceroos 1-4, there gonna need Jordan to pull the upset just to make it in 2nd place.

Don't think so as that would be like the time NZ was knocked out of the WC by Fiji. With Football in Fiji being  amateur and well behind rugby .. or the time the Salmon Islands beat NZ...  but no we will never fall that low...

Imagine a 442 with Ruka and Taggart up top, Boyle and Mabel feeding from the wings and Mooy feeding through the centre. Could be deadly.
