+x+xI cannot understand how the next 4 weeks is a valid indicator of Dean's coaching ability. He has been coach for over 2 years. In each of the last 2 years you can pick a 4 week sample period that would indicate success. Equally you can pick a period that indicates failure. There should be ample evidence to make a decision right now. Whatever it is we need the decision to be made quickly. With the current squad no one expects to top of the table, winning around 50% of games against the bottom 8 is reasonable. Only games we lost this year that we should have won are Cows and Sharks, if Tols play we maybe beat the Sharks. You will find many non-Dogs fans, and even some Sharks fans agree. It was also one if the Sharks better games. Roosters we could play them 10 times with 10 different coaches and still get flogged. Also we have only had Foran on deck for 3 games. I'm not arguing for or against Dean, just can't see why so much emphasis on next 4 games

If the club is concerned about 2021 then leave Pay where he is. To be honest he hasn't been given the opportunity at being coach of a genuine FG squad. Hopefully we can obtain a few more quality players and see how he performs from there. My major complaint with Pay is his strategy of unrational positional choices.

I think they are giving him every chance to earn another year... but he has to earn it. He is now very close to selecting the right side, but he needs a few wins, Tigers have a few injuries and that evens up the contest, it is as close to a fair fight as we will get this season.

Your last sentence are very significant deficiencies, especially after more than 2 years in the job. Smacks of a 20 year plan.

Both ... they couldn't decide... he might be a bit lifeless when they pan to the coaches box...

So who said Pay has 4 weeks to prove himself??? A grub germoulist???... or Pay or the Board ???... Our clubs done a fine job of keeping sh1t in house the past few years, why would this be any different???...
I did see one of favourite pieces of Germoulising ever last week with an article that quoted a person “not closely linked” to the club.... not a source, not an insider but someone ‘not closely linked’... ie some random... Is as bad or worse than Germoulists who write an article with some idiots Twitter feed as a point of reference or as validation...

Well if its come from someone not linked to the club, I believe it! Anyway......back to the job at hand...... How do we unlink Tolman from the club? I'm looking forward to Bennett or Bellamy coming into the club and wielding the axe on Tolman

Pretty good example of how forwards can impact scoring opportunities including kicks from tries... Kikau played no part in that set, but his presence alone attracting 3.5 defenders created the opportunity for Luai to kick...

Panthers are a good footy side mostly home grown..
Kikau played U20s for the Cows...
Panthers run recruitment, development and retention vey well.
Hopefully we are doing the same, inspite of some fans that want to follow the Titans recuitment policy.

I thought the new rules would suit Damien Cook but his attack has gone downhill badly.

What I read on mainstream media this morning (TV), Pay has a month to turn things around. Maybe the players can lift their game and help him out.

I read today that Keary is on $850K which would see him not in the ‘top 10 paid players in the game’.... Obviously a misprint... $850 wouldn’t have him in the top 10 players at the Rorters. .

So much to like about Nathan Cleary. Organizational skills, general play kicking, goal kicking, passing, running and all with the added bonus of a strong defence. Done without a big mouth or ego.

+x+xI thought the new rules would suit Damien Cook but his attack has gone downhill badly. While he’s not been great, their pack is weak. Only making up numbers if they sneak into the eight... A running dummy half needs fast play the balls... The new rules also mean a lot more defensive work for all players in the middle.. Once we get Tommo, I favour a 2 hooker rotation.. having mobile fast high work rate props will be an advantage, a hooker interchange is an attacking option. Bring on a fresh dummy half against a tiring pack of forwards, one quick play the ball is all he needs to be off and running. The Panthers forward pack has a great balance, a lot of their forwards have work rate and impact...

Fox sports match centre has Kearney listed as coach.... Is he still running the club via email? Or as I like to call it Flannaganing....
