Roosters have complained about the playing field, they want the normal surface paved with 100 dollar notes.

+xRoosters have complained about the playing field, they want the normal surface paved with 100 dollar notes. It didn't look like the 1st green at Royal Melbourne but by the same token didn't look too bad...certainly holding together okay. Maybe someone forgot to give them their "candy" prior the game

If anyone, and by anyone I am referring to Marki, tells me how "skillful" the rorters are I will call bullsh!t. Lucky tries off hail mary passes and lucky bounces off panic play doesn't equate to skill.

Maybe someone forgot to give them their "candy" prior the game I thought the pitch was atrocious and FIFA already regretting handing us the women's world cup. I dont know what it is, but we would have to produce the worst football pitches known to mankind. The thing looked like they had horses galloping around it for 3 days. I'd be very surprised if the Parra game goes ahead there tomorrow night.

Their anticipation and confidence is the best I have seen since I've been watching the game. They'd even make a Tolman look like a half decent player.....probably coz they'll never pass to him.

Bullsh!t...... I would like to see an official count on how many six agains they have recieved since the rule changes. They would be light years ahead of any other team. The amount of extra field position they get gifted week in week out is unbelievable, and I think they are allowed to lay in tackle far too long and not get pinged. It explains why the score gets away from their opposition every week.

The surface never broke up but there are many patches that are well grassed and many that are quite bare. This would make the selection of footwear difficult. I saw Nathan Gibbs interviewed when he was Swans doctor. He said what they can't work out is why, when a player does the same thing he's done thousands of times before, his knee gives way. If they knew the answer they'd have more chance of preventing these injuries.

As with all penalties it’s the field position and the game situation... against us 3 in the first 10 late in the count and and what i like to call a traditional penalty saw us out of the game before before we had the ball...

If they knew the answer they'd have more chance of preventing these injuries. Thos this the problem.....uneven terrain. The brain cant tell if the foot can expect reaction from the ground on the grassed area or the bare area. The body's biomechanics doesnt have time to react and puts enormous stress on the joint. It's like when you miss a step going up or down stairs....you land your foot heavily. I would think if these guys were playing on even concrete they'd be ok. If they played on even quicksand they'd be ok. But this half grass half bare patch that looks like a racetrack turf is probsvly the most dangerous to put on a step or change direction

It's what you do with the reset. You can give us 3 tackle resets on 5th tackle and we would waste the 16 tackles with 1 out hitups, eventually get to the other end and wait for our last tackle to put a chip kick in. Roosters are opportunists. They smell points on every play. They ask questions on just about every play and have players that can create things. You just have to look at how they support each other on a break or half break and you can see how "luck" is on their side. It's not luck. Its top shelf rugby league. And its admirable.

The newspapers have again made up a story which has been debunked by Marki's "in the bathroom with the door locked" boys themselves...that an official complaint was made over the state of the ground. Not the case. Brett Morris certainly didn't think so nor did anyone who played at Brookvale a couple of years ago. Nor dd anyone who watched the game on tv.

The only leak from the board room is, a plumber will be called in next week to fix a few leaky taps... Media speculation is like fan speculation, except fan speculation usually has better sources, like a thought the fan had after a couple of beers.
