+x+xI was watching the game on the ABC channel whilst I was on dialysis and I was pleased to see the hunger shown by the Victory players young & old they outplayed the Glory in most situations Foranoli like most south american players tried for fouls each time he went down in a challenge..kudos to Grant Bremner for giving the youngsters the opportunity to play A-league football the future looks good for Victory if the young ones stay with the club loved watching the game congratulations to all...........charliecat Always good to see youngsters play.
But this is more by design than a conscious decision tom”play youngsters”.
So giving Kudos to Brebs for persisting Witt the kids is a bit of a stretch.
Very true. All kudos should go to the kids for taking full advantage of a rare AL opportunity.

+x+x+x+x+xI was particularly impressed with Kirdar. He seems to be growing into that number 10 role and looked adventurous. He also hussled well in defence at times too. If only the previous coaches brought the juniors through earlier, might of saved their careers. Pirlo to Juventus as headcoach..damn, missed that one. And if they did they wouldve been critisized for not trying to get wins so they cam get into finals. They would of got criticized if they continued to fail, although, the young ones could of been phased in slowly in ones and twos and as long as they performed as they are performing lately, Victory might of had more victories and praise allround. Barnett didn't play, maybe once off the bench all season, LLL could of covered Kruse at some stage due to Kruse being out nearly all season, Kirdar was just a name in the juniors, as were Lawrie-Lattanzio, Anderson, Nishikawa and Brooks. Lesiotis got a go and didn't let anyone down, even out of position. I can understand Acton not playing, being injured most of the season and Thomas as the no. 1 this season. Wonder if Lesiotis and Carrigan are on the move, Brebs has not played any of them. Lesiotis and cardigan have played. Brebs has played everyone available besides the youth keeper . Ah, keeper Sutton.

It was an entertaining game with so many goals scored.
Credit to Victory and Brebner for persisting with young players. They delivered on the night.
Loving winter football!

+xIf Victory are lucky Rojas won't go on another Contiki tour due to COVID. He signed a 3 year deal. So unless a club pays his release clause he's stuck here .

Pretty much everything shown by all of our kids tonight was super encouraging.
After the way they've stuck with us in the worst possible circumstances this season it would be unconscionable for us to not stick with them.

Glory don't deserve finals football after that pathetic outing. Friggin boring too. Not a Victory fan but at least they were entertaining and wanted it. Embarrasing Perth. !!!!

Glory had the second most interest in winning that game. They jogged after the ball and to diffuse situations more often than they played like it mattered.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

+x+x+x[quote]That was a terrific shift from pretty much all of our kids. Looking forward to never seeing them again next season after we sign the usual European retirees and recycled A-League journeymakers next season. +xSo happy for Elvis. He really deserves that. FoxSport is a joke at the best of times, but treating Kasomba as the hero of the game because he can do backflips is unbelievable. He has scored one goal in 40 games !! I didn’t think that’s what they were trying to do. They are just happy for him to score his first AL goal..
