+xGeez we don’t even make the top 20 Foxtel ratings anymore people are fixated too much on TV ratings. Happy to discuss them, but i don’t take the numbers seriously anymore, how can you without all of the data? We are also in a season of transition and shouldn’t be expecting too much.

Anyway, just noticed how often Sky News makes the top 20 these days, sort of tells us where that demographic is at. Football fans have abandoned Foxtel, never to return..

There is no reason for football fans to stay on FoxTel hey ... if you’re an AFL, NRL or Cricket fan you’ve got wall to wall coverage on FoxTel, your sport is covered in the news, there’s unique shows only available on FoxTel dedicated to your sport, the general sports magazine shows give additional coverage, and along with the live game itself you get a pre and post game show.
If you’re an A-League supporter you get the game itself and that’s it. So you can pay for the cheaper Kayo or pay three times as much for FoxSports ... it’s a no brainer.

The preferred viewing platform for football supporters is Kayo not Fox Sports so without those numbers you can’t draw any conclusions .... unless you are pushing something of course.
