This has shaken up the third act of the regular season.
Off the field, we need our derbies back desperately.

Imagine a few years ago having a Sydney Derby match thread with only eight posts by the 80th minute, and not even a single post from either a Sydney or Wanderers fan.
We're on the ropes, boys.
(Caveat in that I'm not sure who Sportaddict goes for.)

Ok, Corica is unable to change tactics or formations during a game. Same old, same old.

The VAR shouldn't be allowed to play slo mo vision to referees, they only use it to accentuate any part of the play that advantages the team that they are biased to.

Thoroughly deserved loss for Sydney, derby losers three years running now. Big impact on the home run for the regular season with Sydney, Adelaide and CCM all on 31 points compared to City's 35.

6 games without McGowen in the squad.
3 wins, 3 draws, and 0 losses.
But once fit he should come in and steal a starting place of someone more deserving yet again.

Good win. The Wanderers took their opportunities and that’s it. Thanks bimbi for leaving Caceres on the bench for so long.

+xGot it on German dazn. Good scenes early on. Great to hear dazn are broadcasting the A league in Germany. Love their coverage of the J league for Optus. Dazn for the next domestic broadcaster anyone?

Looked like a great game from the highlights.
Too often the Sydney derby has been a fizzer but this one seemed like a classic

Thought we actually played some great football. 75% possession got hit on the counter twice in 10 mins, credit to Wanderers for taking those chances very well. How that wasn't a penalty I'll never know. Gotta keep the myth of bias somehow I guess.

How that wasn't a penalty I'll never know. Gotta keep the myth of bias somehow I guess. WSW & MVFC fans are bred from the same well of eternal victimhood & inferiority. As for the game those first two goals we conceded ended the game there & then. Wanderer's defended very well & defended as a team on the whole. Carl Robinson did his homework as tactically I thought the way he played was 100% correct. They had some luck & we made some mistakes but football is like that. Great atmosphere. Corica doesn't really do tactical flexibility at all I've noticed over the years.
