Hey everyone wondering what all your thoughts are about tonights game.  Also does anyone know if this game will be streamed and how etc 

And to all the other south boys,  what's the crowds been like this year? Are they expecting big numbers? Haven't been really following since pre covid 

The weather is pretty atrocious and the fixture itself has been done to death with South and Knights constantly drawing eachother in the cup. That said the postponement of Oakleigh v Preston may bring the south east contingent to Lakeside tonight. Our crowds tend to be bigger away from home but this is our first big home game so will be interesting to see the turnout.

Nice. I'm bringing along a few friends from work tonight but I want them to see lakeside packed so they continue to come. What numbers are you thinking approximately? 2k thereabouts? 

Im devastated I cant make tonight because of a family commitment.... had been looking forward to it all week....  AND NO STREAM .... 

They have no stream? Don't all the ffa games get streamed?

I guess its selective. they tend to stream the smaller state league club games in the early raounds....
 I havent missed a game at home for 4-5 years and I have to miss this one ...... Im cut..... Have fun dude, hope your mates enjoy it.

Word was somewhere in 1300-1500 region. More than I expected for a cold Tuesday night, 

Wish they could have all cup ties played on a weekend, would have been double the crowd on a Friday or Saturday night.

Hope we get an Aleague side next round, its where the bottom 4 Aleague teams are introduced to their FFA state qualifiers early yeah?  

I have no idea what the system is, if it’s the same as previous years South has to win 2 more to make the national round of 32 stage. Avondale, Bentleigh, Hume, probably Oakleigh etc will all be there. Tonight would have been more special if it was the last qualifier, I think we need to win 2 more games...until we make national stage hopefully we draw a lower division team, getting Knights so early is brutal, if you keep drawing npl heavyweights it just makes it tough.
