+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xEveryone losing their minds over an English third division playoff game against Lincoln City. How standards have fallen. No we're happy to see an Aussie player doing well OS & playing a big part in getting his team promoted to the Championship - one of the best & competitive leagues in world. So pipe down with your negative BS Muppet Haha describing the Championship "one of the best leagues"? Just like the Israeli Premier League, Danish SuperLiga, Serbian SuperLiga and Greek Super League? The Championship is easily in the Top 10 leagues in the world LOL keep talking up the The Championship. Because you keep reading about it on websites in the English language. English Premier League La Liga Bundesliga Serie A Ligue 1 Eredivisie Jupiler Pro Primeira Liga Brasileiro Serie A Turkish SuperLiga
Not to mention Bundesliga 2, Segunda Division, Liga MX, J-League, MLS. https://www.globalfootballrankings.com/No 9 in the world according to this site. SFB 👍 Wow, thank you so much! Damn, this is very accurate and reliable source of information. Did you literally Google "football rankings" and click the first link haha. You must believe everything you read on the internet. You must believe everything that goes through your tiny brain?! Where did YOUR list come from?! YOUR ARSE?! Turkish League 😂 in case you didn’t know, the ECL is the gateway to the EPL. like others have said - If you wanna be unsupportive of Australian players achievements in European Football then find somewhere else to be a negative time waster Great job just ignoring how much of a pumpkin you are. After all, you just showed how stupid the website was. Championship is the gateway to the EPL. Ummm okay mate that’s good to know. So this must be top ten league by default. This must make League One the top twenty league then?

Alright let's stop shoveling manure into the thread. Comments about players supposedly playing in rubbish leagues could maybe go in the national team thread. Ruka scored in that latest game if anyone didn't know. Tap-in but an important goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnJKkfYhdf8
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

A post today on the AGF Facebook page would suggest that they aren't extending Arzani's loan. Where's he going to end up now?

So who's your AA of the season? Elder was fantastic. Ended very well for Dougall who entered the club a bit late due to not having a deal. Ruka sound again. Decent year for Irvine and Boyle was even better. Borrello, Leckie, Ryan, Luongo and Rogic with tough, disappointing seasons.

Boyle with his best season ever. Souttar very consistent. Not bad seasons at all for most of the AA’s

Since taking over Montedio Yamagata in J2, Cklamovski has steered the team to 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in his first 6 games.
Before he joined the club, their record from 10 games was 2 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses.
Awesome to see that he’s been able to hit the ground running.

Gwargis was released for Brighton and has signed for Malmo. Ouzoundis and Schwarzer were released from Everton and Fulham respectively.

Oh wow, surprised to hear that about Ouzounidis. From all reports he was highly rated by Everton.
Man it really is so hard to judge the standing of any player in the academy of a big team.

I had thought that he only got a job by piggy-backing off Ange’s success and wasn’t sure about his coaching credibility on its own. Let’s hope it continues.

Isn’t he like 22 and never played senior ball? Maybe an ALeague side will have a look, otherwise it’ll be lower semipro leagues for him.

He turns 22 this year and never been near the first team so not remotely surprising. I fully expect the same to happen to JRB too.

More academy products who at the age of 22 has never played a professional senior game of football. Why is anyone surprised? By the age of 22 you should have over a hundred appearances.
