+x+x+x+xMo Toure probably needs another year or two before going but I wonder which club it will be? Well he wont be allowed to move for another year anyway. there is a whole bunch of regulations around under age player international transfers, basically saying it cant happen He can go immediately if his family relocates with him. I remember reading an article a while back with his dad saying they won’t relocate or at least wait until he’s 18. I think it's in his best interests to stay for another few years regardless, but it'll come down to whether there's pressure from the AU ownership for him to move on. Seems like there might be a bit of pressure from them to get a fee while there's interest in him, etc. like what's gone on with Kuol at CCM. It's also far too soon for Kuol to go abroad, but it is what it is.

He needs to be the first choice striker at AU before he goes OS & currently he's playing most of his games for their NPL team!! I want to see him succeed as much as anyone, but he should stay here and dominate the a league, before making the move - Riley McGree is probably the best example of recent times With Juric set to depart he could get a lot more game time but at this stage, Yengi would become first choice striker.

Toure can play another 2 season in the ALeague, cement himself, get into Socceroos frame and still be under 20…so there really is no rush, hopefully the best decision for his future is made.

+xBurgess to Sydney confirmed. Absolute mug, the way he's forced his way out of WU should have clubs very wary of him when they consider signing him in the future. To me, Sydney don't come out of this clean either.

I don't think that is true. A minor can only be granted a transfer if their parents move counties for non-footballing reasons. It would be almost impossible to argue that the family moved for non footballing reasons

It would be almost impossible to argue that the family moved for non footballing reasons All the club has to do is provide his mother or father with a job, and he can relocate. I remember Manchester United used to make the parents of overseas talent members of their ground staff, and just never have them show up to work. There's ways around it, it just depends on how badly the club wants the player immediately.

Jets have signed 23-year-old striker Beka Mikeltadze. A Georgian international, who has had stints at Rubin Kazan, Xanthi and Dinamo Tbilisi. Interesting. https://www.newcastlejetsfc.com.au/news/jets-secure-attacking-weapon-beka-mikeltadze

Very interesting. Loving the signings the Jets have made so far, young, enthusiastic and hungry to succeed. Still need a few more signings though, esp a playmaker. It'll be Interesting to see if they keep Donachie and Champness as well, Jets could very well be exciting to watch.

Agree we probably need someone to pull the strings in the middle (Dimi, come back!). Hoping we can re-sign Stamatelopoulos too.

We are pretty stacked at the back now - could definitely see Donachie going elsewhere. I also wonder if Koutroumbis is in Papas' plans, and whether that is in midfield.

Kinda like Rowles, I see him as someone who could really flourish with regular game time in the right system.

So Italian GK Riccardo Piscitelli is so keen on a move to the Jets that he’s commented on one of their posts saying he’s DM’d them 😂

+xMacarthur have officially announced they have signed Davila and DDS while Grstede and McManaman have left MV. McManaman just joined League two side tranmere rovers. Wes hoolahan joined a league two side after leaving jets and was one of the players of the season so wouldnt be surprise if cal mac does well at that level.
