According to a Twitter user who seems to be related to the Kuol’s, Alou and Teng will play for South Sudan.

Probably because he was never offered a cap for Roos 😞

Alou isn’t good enough for the Roos yet while Teng hasn’t made his debut for CCM yet.

Dissapointing, I would of expected he got called up if he started playing in the buli 2, I mean several players in the current socceroos are playing in that league.

Yep. But as if Arnold would rate a young talent like Kuol with the mighty Duke from J2

Duke is much better in current ability, that’s why.

Kuol has the potential to be the better footballer but he’s very raw and has a long way to go

Alou Kuol scored more goals and got the same amount of assists in 244 less minutes than Mitchell Duke in the A-League last season.

Doesn’t mean he is the better player right now though. Alou is very raw and very young. Right now he wouldn’t start for most A-League sides whereas Duke would.

its like his distant cousin, they are trying to get Roos to cap Alou, similar to the Volpato issue, doubt Alou even wants to play for south sudan

Yuel and Morgan starting, Majok bench.

Mawith did his ACL so that’s why he’s not in the squad.

Good career overseas but didn’t really stand out in the A-League. Played in a Cup final for Adelaide and started WU’s first ever game.
