+xNewy journo James Gardiner has apparently confirmed the signings of McGarry and Sotirio to the Jets. Wonder if the former has an Aussie passport or will count as a visa player? He's a kiwi so he'll take up a visa spot.

+x+x+x+xMurnane, Savvas, Yuel, Arques, O'Doherty, Regan and Boumal release by the Jets. Yuel should get another gig. O'Doherty maybe. I think Boumal got a bit big for his boots. I'm a bit scared about some of the players we're rumored to be signing. They don't really screams Papas-ball to me. Buhagier heading to Newy Yep, talk of Buhagiar AND Sotirio - gonna give me nightmares. God speed my friend. I couldn’t think of anything worse

Aren’t those just the players @ZizouSzn10 wants to sign? He doesn’t post transfer rumours, just talks about players he wants to sign.

I'm quietly optimistic about this signing. We looked much better with Murnane at left back last season though I have no idea why he was out of favour so much (fitness?). Anything except Hoffman at left back!

Wellington have let go of 7 players.
Bozinovski and Sandoval will return to their parent clubs, Sotirio and McGarry are seemingly off to the Jets while Hooper, Ott and Mogg haven’t been re-signed.
Piscopo is off contract and is “considering his options”.

Sandoval was quality. Surprised with how many Nix fans didn't rate him - I guess being hyped as better than Davila didn't help.
Hooper we already knew was cutting his contract short.
Interested to see where Piscopo lands. Still very hot and cold, but when he's on he's on.

Would fit in well with all our other very hot and cold wingers.

I think brimmer is more than ready and daggers and folami aren’t far off
I think piscopo is the real deal.

It was reported on Channel 10 tonight that Mo Toure and Dukuly are off to Rennes.
Edit: I think it might’ve been Reims. They both sound so similar.

Just hope they both get game time. Whether that's with reims or they go on loan to a lower league.

Maybe cause its Australia whereas as most potential abroad is under 20 or abouts. My observations these young SFC players are worth a mention in your list Nieuwenhof 21 Yazbek 20 Wood 20

^ Totally agree. It’s so warped that we think of 20+ year olds as ‘young’. Quite a unique perspective we seem to have tbh as none of the other leagues I follow around the world appear to look at it that way.

Reno Piscopo has signed for another A-League club, most likely Newcastle.

+xReno Piscopo has signed for another A-League club, most likely Newcastle. I had heard that, but now kiwi journo Jason Pine has tweeted it I feel a lot more confident. Strange move. Either he buys into Papas-ball or we sell him on a la Devlin!

I think he's more a player that should be aiming for 2 good seasons and then a move to K or J-league.

Anderson and LLL have left Victory. Wouldn’t be surprised if they both end up in the NPL
