Edited by salmonfc: 27/5/2016 01:29:09 PM You change the job title of every job you ever had to Customer Service. If you had to deal with people, it's Customer Service. Alot of the time it will get you a look in.

You have a great evening also! where the fark have you been???? KA banned me because he wilfully misconstrued sarcasm as homophobia, an assertion that pv4 then repeated after the offending post was deleted so there was no chance of anyone seeing the evidence for themselves. Then I got busy with work and a new venture in India. Now I'm back in Australia and just wound up a contract I have a bit of time off, but nothing really interesting is happening on the boards so I'm only checking every few days. Oh, and all the multis I use as well, I guess.

At least in my field, we find it hard to hire grads anyway so it becomes a bit of a disincentive to keep looking around for them. We're just taken one on (who is now leaving) and it's cost us thousands in my time and my colleagues time spent on holding his hand. The benefit of a graduate though is they haven't developed bad habits that you need to un-train!

Less training Less likely to be a Newstart/Centrelink requirement application More likely they are actually capable They know what the shit bits of the job are and are prepared to do it Less likely to leave quickly and make employer go through the re-hire process Less likely to injure themselves then end up on WorkCover May be able to show the current batch of numptys how to do it better . . . .

I guess some advice I can give to those wanting to get into software development, get involved on open source projects on Github. If you really enjoy coding then getting pull requests accepted to projects would be seriously impressive to an employer and put you ahead of many other applicants.

Edited by salmonfc: 27/5/2016 01:29:09 PM Years ago, I was able to get 2 different jobs by lying (i added a bogus previous job on my cv). Depending on the job, and whether you really do need experience this can be an option. The better option though is probably to volunteer / ask to do work experience in a similar role. For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

You have a great evening also! Nice try I made a simple offer to a kid that struggles with his weight and wants to do something about it to put him in touch with somebody who can help and is knowledgeable and would likely chat and give advice for free coz she cares about people and is an amazing intelligent and caring person who is fantastic at what she does. I never claimed to be that person and you shouldn't claim for a second that you were being genuine with your question. Adios muchacho Edited by davide82: 24/5/2016 06:14:21 PM =d> Well said.

$125 fee 🙃 Jesus Christ you don't help yourself. How could you miss something so important? If i cost my parents $125 and it was entirely avoidable i would've got the buckle end of the belt! Would you get punished for that? I didn't realise it was today and my mum forgot. I didn't miss it on purpose.

$125 fee 🙃 A bottle of Jack Daniels costs less. Jack, is also a friend. Talking to Jack after consuming Mr. Daniels can help sometimes.

$125 fee 🙃 Therapist? I have known people try therapy, also anti-depressants - so I am well informed. You just need to adjust your attitude. Happiness depends on a person's distance from Adelaide.
