lol no. I got SEAS cause ive missed out on 50% of classes in the last 3 years for medical reasons. I had to apply for SEAS just to get an ATAR because I didnt have the attendance requirement covered.

Your circumstances? You're a spoilt brat. What circumstances? You're appealing to SEAS because you couldn't have a wank for three weeks? I got kicked out of home twice in my VCE and SEAS told me to HTFU.

Oh. Well I dont need mine for what im doing.. just for a backup. I put all my eggs in the other basket though. Its brighter and shinier. I can only blame myself for not getting a great score but at the same time for my circumstances its not an awful score. I shouldnt be as disappointed as I am.

Arts at UoM was like 88.95 last year IIRC. And they guarantee a certain number of spots 20-25% to people with SEAS who score above 78. Same with their bachelor of environments. and biomedicine also has the same thing, dropping from 97 to 88 if you have SEAS.

Getting a lot of things in order. I cant commit to a year of uni so best to defer.

The difference being I never claimed to care about my score, I never claimed that I was going to get 90+ and I was never going to need it for my course.


Arts at Melb required a score of 87 last year.

Arts melb is still in my prefs. Thanks to SEAS I still have a small chance. Doesnt really matter cause ill defer regardless of whether I get it or not but itd be nice to have a place at UoM waiting for me. Theyd probably tell me to FO if I told them I wanted to defer with the intention to never step foot on the campus.

I got 90.15, was pleasantly surprised, glad all the presure is off now and I got enough to get my first prefference

I wouldn't take too much notice of ATAR or whatever the fuck they're calling it. It's a system designed to benefit foreign students with additional loading given if english isn't your first language. So basically you're fucked from the outset if there's a large number of chinese exchange students at your school. The whole thing is bullshit and needs to be changed, not just given a different name.
