Seems like a bizarre move

Surely Zahra isn't moving to Perth. We had way too many wingers last season, around 6, and without Zahra we'd have 2 (Dugandzic and David Williams). It would be stupid administration to let both Kamal Ibrahim and Adrian Zahra go and only have Dugandzic, The LB/LW Craig Goodwin (who appears to be leaving before next season) and the unreliable Williams.

A sign of things going wrong if true.

apparently changing kit sponsor from ISC to Kappa for next season

That will be interesting, and will certainly add some more variety to the comps kits.

Kappa had a bigger presence here in the early 2000's, but dissapeared after that, so it would be good to see them make a comeback.

i quoted myself so heart fans that dont go on rumour mill (lets face it no-one does) would check out the thread.

I think the last time I looked at that page was last pre-season, guess everyone else is the same. I did a bit of work to it, could use some more probably. Also added the result of our finals game which I am sure you'll be happy about glory recruit. :)

rumour is that we are talking to Grella and Charisteas to sign one as a marquee. Won't sign both of them but looking to sign one

Too early to say really. They said they'd use it once last season and they did, who knows if it will turn up again. Hopefully we will see it on the field again.

Charisteas is the exact type of international signing we need for promotional purposes. Grella is not of that much interest, unless he fits under the cap. I doubt he'd want that much of a pay cut, but he's better than Thompson & Srhoj and perhaps Aloisi as coach might convince him to move back. Also wondering if the Australian NT/Italian link of Aloisi could lure back Bresciano to play with Grella? It has all been rumored before, but it is interesting to think about the possibility.

But targeting the local ethnic communities (in a unified way) is the way forward. Italians, Greeks, ex-Yugo's and Asian players will help make our team survive by appealing to fan bases. That said, there's no space for old & useless players who don't pull their weight.

Hey guys could i have a summary of hearts ownership including who owns heart and how much of the club he controls(50%-70% etc.), any ownership crisis's.

If you mean investors(?) they are Michael Catalano, David Kobritz, Patrick Prendergast, Ghadir Razuki, Jimmy Goh and obviously Peter Sidwell as the chairman

not sure about what % each of them have. As for ownership crisis the only one really is Joe Mirabella parting ways with the club at the end of 2010/11 season and going back to victory

There were originally 5 owners with equal shares in the club. Can't remember names apart from Peter Sidwell and Joe Mirabella. But Mirabella left or was kicked out and replaced by two other guys. Again, I can't remember the names.

woot found a source that shows the consortium names they are property developer David Kobritz, furniture supplier Michael Catalano, former Victorian soccer executive Manny Galanos, lighting distributor Joe Mirabella and entertainment promoter Patrick Prendergast and of course peter sidwell.

I'll try and find a article of Joe Mirabella walking out.
