The Doctor wrote:Fuck off Sam Mendes and get Nolan into Bond when the series starts up again so he doesn't do Superman (surely the most ridiculous superhero of the lot) Mendes has already been fucked off. So has the whole production. Parent studio is flat broke and can't even afford development costs. Sad state of affairs. No Bond for a few years now by the looks of things.

It is rather sad about MGM... although i thought i read that Mendes was still keen on the project if it gets back up, although i don't think there's word about Craig. Somebody was running a market on the next potential Bond with Worthington as favourite

I wouldn't be surprised if Heiny turns up just for that
I'm pleased it's good. The books were brilliant. I may have to re-read them.

Was recommended Blindness and enjoyed it right up til the 'twist'. I was told it was unbelievable but I was that angry I intended to facepalm so hard I would rip out my brain and eat it Good movie but anti-climax of 'first sexual encounter' proportions
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

i'm off to go buy the first two books of the series and then buying the soundtrack tomorrow, because just the music was just great, especially Garbage Truck "i'll take you to the dump because your my queen... you know you wanna ride my garbage truck truck truck truck"... just absolutely loved it to bits, but i've been looking forward to it for months, the Young Neil bit was great playing of Neil Young... and oh oh the bit where lucas lee gets out of his trailer and they play the universal music... and oh oh Wallace was the fucking best character Wallace: Guess whose drunk Scott: I guess Wallace *wallace throws keys at Scott's head* Wallace: You guessed right Scott Pilgrim vs The Animation (short 4 min vid they did for the backstory of Scott and Kim) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BitByGeWGxUEdited by The Doctor: 31/8/2010 01:38:17 AM

You've put yourself in a perilous position here Doc. Because of your constant posting and screaming about this movie, I'll probably go see it. If it doesn't live up to those expectations, you'll be banned...

Was going to have an Aussie in the Patrick Swayze part too, I believe.

Fuck I love this Bond thing 7two has going on. Octopussy tonight, classic Bond.
I do like Roger Moore, but my favourite one has to be On Her Majesty's Secret Service - with Lazenby.
