Some people really need to give up the fucking bias. It was a clear penalty and red card FFS. The ref had no choice but to send him off.

Clear penalty yes, red card no, he didn't deliberatley block the ball so therefore it should have only been a yellow. But whats done is done and now we need to hope the boys can dig deep and get a result

as earlier posted Vidic in the Germany game was a clear delibrate hand ball and should have recieved a red, but the ref gave him a yellow....

It's not bad luck, it's the official interpretation of the handball rule. Ball to hand is NOT a penalty - And it hit his fucking shoulder/upper arm anyway.

From what I know the rule is that the handball must be intentional for it to be red.

The Cahill send of was not and should never have been a red. So that's irrelevant. Point is, the tackle on bresc was studs up, from behind and with both feet and was a red card any day of the week.

Unlucky for Kewell, it was a 50/50 call imo and if the ref blows he has to send him off.

It must be a deliberate obstruction of a clear scoring opportunity to be a red card. It was in no way deliberate. There was nothing Kewell could do.
